Required Resource Pack
37
This datapack implements the mobs that didn't make it into Minecraft from this years Mob Votes!
The Glare
Spawns in Jungles, Dark Oak Forests and Swamps, these little bush babies wander around the minecraft world. The player can use Glow Berries to attract them, much like a cow would follow a player with wheat. When the light level is low enough for Hostile mobs, the Glare will growl to warn you, however unlike their Mob Vote counterpart, these Glares will light up and turn into a Light Source if it is too dark. The Glare will change their texture and produce light to stop mobs from spawning, they won't move either, if you place a torch below the Glare, they will go back to their normal form, as the light level is now 👌.
The Copper Golem
The Copper Golem is created by the player and does not spawn naturally, the player can build them by placing a copper block below a carved pumpkin/ jack o' lantern, and by placing a copper button on top.
Copper Buttons can be crafted by a 2x2 of copper ingots. Copper Golems will follow the player around until they are left alone with the Copper Buttons, they will walk to a button and stay at it, pressing it at random intervals. They will prioritise the button they are given and not walk around, however you can place buttons two blocks away from them and they will press them too.
Over time, both the golem and the button can oxidise. As Buttons oxidise, their pulse time is lengthened, and as the Golem oxidises it will move more slowly, completely freezing into a statue at its final stage. Buttons can be waxed by throwing honeycombs onto them, and they will not continue to oxidise further, golems cannot be waxed.
I feel like I missed a lot of bugs in this pack, and if you find anything please let me know

Why does the copper golem not press the buttons, but only runs after me, or can it only press the copper buttons?
The resource pack shouldn't lag your game much if at all.
and Copper Golems will only press copper buttons.
you could make a different data pack for each
