    Grindcraft
    A simple yet vastly functional Minecraft data pack that makes regular grindstone more effective and useful.

    Recipes:
    Grindcraft adds two new recipes that are required to bring your grindstone to life! Both require a stonecutter to make, and range from easily accessible to rare yet rewarding.
    Rudimentary Chisel:
    The rudimentary chisel is the most easy way to access the content provided in this data pack. Despite looking like an unassuming stick, it is hardened to an edge that can be utilized to sharpen your grindstone (More in the mechanics section). To craft a rudimentary chisel, all you need to do is simply put a wooden shovel into a stonecutter. Sadly, due to the weak nature of wood this chisel quickly breaks after even one use.
    Advanced Chisel:
    To craft a more advanced chisel, one must first obtain a material of a greater caliber. The substitute here is the breeze rod! By putting a breeze rod into a stonecutter, one can create the advanced chisel. This chisel appears to take on an almost glimmering quality after being sharpened to a pristine edge. Unlike the rudimentary chisel, this superior chisel never breaks.

    Mechanics:
    Grindcraft features a new mechanic with grindstones, sharpening. By left clicking on a grindstone with a chisel you can prepare it. A prepared grindstone can only be interacted with by placing items on it by left clicking with the item you wish to place. Then, by shifting and left clicking you can use the grindstone. Using a grindstone will either grind or repair the items on top of it.
    Here are the grind-able items:
    1. Redstone Ore -> 8 Redstone Dust
    2. Blaze Rod -> 4 Blaze Powder
    3. Bone -> 6 Bone Meal
    4. Wheat Seeds -> 1 Wheat
    5. Sugar Cane -> 2 Sugar
    Any piece of armor and weapons can be repaired to full durability. Once a prepared grindstone has been used, it returns to its former state and can be interacted with again. If an item on the grindstone can't be repaired or isn't grind-able, the item will be consumed.
    (Side note, creatures too close to a grindstone when it is used may be converted into paste)

    This data pack is built to be polished, and as such is very lag friendly with no tick functions. I will also continue to work on and refine this data pack, so look out for further updates!

    The resource pack included here is only to add custom death messages and is not required for playability
