Experience the Magic of the Season!
It's time to experience the magic of the season in Holidays & Happenings! Holiday Happenings bring the season to life with special Holidays themed items, cosmetics, and items (Only available during the season - get them while you can!). Traders of Holiday Spirit will visit weekly in order for players to spend their hard earned Spirit Shards. Baseline Happenings happen year round, on rare occurrences receive Blessings from the legendary Notch, The Dwarf, and The Beagle. But beware! With great Blessings come great curses, The Infamous Herobrine is back with a vengeance. For the night owl in the group, keep your eyes to the sky! You might just see a Falling Star; Find the Star and collect a Spirit Shard. Lastly Craft and place Mailboxes for a chance to receive Mail and Packages every morning!

Current Season : Spring
Bunny Day is here, a season full of Luck & Sweets. Everyday at Dawn players have a chance to experience The Egg Hunt! When the Egg Hunt Event is triggered, players have a chance to find Egg Capsules nearby. Players can open Egg Capsules by right clicking - receiving a series of tasty and special rewards including Spirit Shard's (this is the easiest way to obtain Spirit Shards during this event). Fetch yourself a Bunny basket from a Trader of Holiday Spirit, All Bunny Baskets are filled every Egg Hunt Event. Don't forget to decorate with new seasonal cosmetics, dawn new weaponry & Armor Sets, and unlock the true potential of The Kadburii - Chocolate Egg Launcher.Expand the Tabs below to learn more about the season:
The Egg Hunt
At Dawn, players have a chance to trigger The Egg Hunt event. This event spawns Egg Capsules randomly on the surface of the world around every player. It is up to the players to find all of the Egg Capsules before they despawn. Players can crack open any Egg Capsules they find in order to receive special rewards (This is the easiest way to find Spirit Shards) - crack the capsules open by looking at the ground/walls and right clicking. Don't forget to Fetch yourself a Bunny basket from a Trader of Holiday Spirit, All Bunny Baskets are filled every Egg Hunt Event.
Trader of Holiday Spirit - Spring Edition
Traders of Holiday Spirit will come weekly - and have a chance to spawn in Around Noon every Minecraft day. Traders only accept Spirit Shards as Currency .
Spirit Shards can be obtained in a number of ways:
1. Falling Stars - throughout the night Falling Stars have a chance to fall. Find where it fell and receive a Spirit Shard.
2. Notch Blessing - Every time Notch blesses the server every player receives 3 Spirit Shards.
3. Mail - Craft and setup a nearby Mailbox - players have a rare chance to receive a Spirit Shard in the mail every morning.
4. Holiday Event - Holiday events will always be the easiest way to obtain Spirit Shards.
5. Bunny Baskets - Placed Baskets are filled with Egg Capsules every Egg Hunt Event - Opening the capsules grants the player a chance to receive Spirit Shards.

Artist Bundle
Description: Unleash your creative side with an Artist Bundle. Artist Bundles give the player a large variety of different colored dyes.

Description: Bunny Armor is a new armor set that can be obtained through the Trader of Holiday Spirit. Bunny Armor is slightly better then Iron Armor. Bunny Ears do not degrade, the other pieces do. The Tunic, Leggings, and Boots can be repair with Leather. The Tunic, Leggings, and Boots can also be enchanted via the Enchanting Table.
Additional Note About the Bunny Leggings: When Worn, these pants grant the player a 3% speed boost.

Leprechaun Hat
Description: The Leprechaun Hat does not degrade. While worn this hat periodically grants the player the Lucky effect for 3 minutes.
Important Note: In order to place the Leprechaun Hat, it needs to be placed into an Item Frame or Armor Stand. If you right click the Leprechaun Hat onto the ground without an Item Frame or armor stand it will turn into a Pumpkin :(

Mighty Carrot - Sword
Description: The Mighty Carrot is here to FEED! Spring has sprung and the vegetables need to be planted. It's time - to sow.
Special Ability: This sword has a 6% chance of granting the player carrots/golden carrots upon damaging a mob.

Lady Luck - Sword
Description: Unlock the power of Lady Luck! Tis' the season to be lucky.
Special Ability: *While Wielding - Nearby Mobs have a chance to become Lucky (They will emit Luck Particles) - Every time a Lucky mob takes damage it drops valuables (Gold Nuggets, Gold Ingots, Iron Ingots, Iron Nuggets, and Emeralds).

The Kadburii - Chocolate Egg Launcher
Description: You just brought an Egg Launcher to a Sword fight. Does 12 HP an egg, upon hit can effect multiple mobs in a group.
Ammo: Needs chocolate Eggs in order to fire.
Special Ability: *Upon Hit, sends mobs flying into the sky.

Realms
This data pack is Realms compatible! If you fancy a multiplayer experience, simply create a single player world and add the data pack to it. Once it is created, upload the world to your realm and you are good to go!
Note: In order for your friends to experience the magic of the data pack, everybody needs to have the Resource Pack enabled and selected.

Blessings & Curses
Blessing & Curses happen periodically at random times (They are quite rare). See the lists below to learn about each one:
Blessing List:
- Notch - Applies Regeneration/Absorption for 8 Minutes to all players server wide. All players also receive 3 Spirit Shards (If they have inventory space open).
- Beagle - Strength/Speed for 8 Minutes to all players server wide.
- Dwarf- Haste/Nightvision for 8 Minutes to all players server wide. All players also receive 64 torches (If they have inventory space open).
- Herobrine - Darkness for 4 Minutes to all players server wide. Also applies a cursed tag to all players.
-Sets Weather to Thunderstorm
-Nearby Creepers have a very high chance of being struck by lightening.
-Turns all Spiders into Cave Spiders when curse is applied.
-Triggers nearby Zombie Pigmen/Enderman to attack the nearest player.
-While the curse is active the following buffs are applied to nearby Mobs:
*All Skeleton types turn invisible.
*All Zombie types are buffed with Speed and Strength.
Lifting the curse:
-Players can sleep in the Overworld to remove the Curse from all players on the server.
-Players can wait out the Herobrine Curse (The 4 Minute Duration)
Crafting Mailboxes & Receiving Mail
Mailboxes are a new block that players can craft that allow players to a chance receive Mail every morning.
Mail Consists of the following:
-Junk Mail (Just like Real Life!)
-Spirit Shards
-Packages (What's Inside is a mystery!)

Christmas is upon us, a season full of Gifts and Giving. Weekly, at Dusk players have a chance to experience Christmas! Santa Claus is in need of some help this year, and it would appear he is fresh out of elves. Santa Claus will visit players throughout Christmas Eve in hopes that they can help him spread a little Christmas cheer (Santa Claus will give those that are not on the Naughty List Villager Presents - which you can deliver to nearby Villagersfor a reward - upon delivery you have a chance to receive a Spirit Shard - this is the easiest way to obtain Spirit Shards during this event). Fetch yourself a Stocking from A Trader of Holiday Spirit and receive special rewards on Christmas Eve! Don't forget to decorate with new seasonal cosmetics!Expand the Tabs below to learn more about the season:
Helping Santa Claus - Christmas Eve
Meeting Santa: Santa Claus will spawn in on a random player when the Christmas Eve event starts. At Midnight Santa Claus will visit another random player on the server. At Dawn Santa Claus departs - and won't return until the next Christmas Eve event.
Santa's Quest: Santa Claus needs your help this Christmas spreading some extra Christmas cheer. Players that approach Santa Claus with an open spot in their inventory and are NOT on the Naughty List will receive Three Villager Gifts. Players that deliver these Villager Gifts to nearby villagers will receive a reward for their efforts (This is the main way to obtain Spirit Shards). Players can only gift one Present per Villager on Christmas Eve. Once you deliver your first stack of gifts you can receive additional Villager Gifts by visiting Santa Claus throughout Christmas Eve.
Find yourself on the Naughty List? Do not fret, in the morning once Santa Claus departs your act of malice will be forgiven.
Christmas Morning: Villagers who received gifts on Christmas Eve will be overjoyed. Players who approach Villagers on Christmas morning (Marked by Green Effect Bubbles) might even find themselves on the receiving end for their efforts.

Description: Wreaths and Christmas Trees can be placed by right clicking.

The Tunic, and Boots can be repair with Leather. The Leggings can be repaired with Gold. The Tunic, Leggings, and Boots can also be enchanted via the Enchanting Table.
Additional Note About the Elf Pants: When Worn, these pants give a 3% Move Speed buff to the player.

Festive Villager Spawn Eggs
Description: Festive Villager Spawn Eggs can now be obtained from the Trader of Holiday Spirit - for an expense these villagers of Yuletide Spirit can join your village.
Christmas Caper
Description: The Christmas Caper is an extremely strong weapon capable of delivering deadly bonks, just like a tube of wrapping paper!
Special Ability: This sword has a 1% chance of granting the player a present upon damaging a mob.
Retired Season: Fall
Fall is upon us, a season full of Trickery and Treats. Weekly, at Dusk players have a chance to experience Halloween! First and Foremost Trick or Treaters are about. Baby Zombies become friendly towards the player in hopes of receiving Candy (When you give Trick or Treaters Candy - you have a chance to receive a Spirit Shard -this is the easiest way to obtain Spirit Shards during this event). Fetch yourself a Candy Pail from A Trader of Holiday Spirit and do some trick or treating from Iron Golems (Get that CANDY)! Iron Golems aren't the only mobs participating in the nightly affairs - Enderman are also giving out tasty rewards to those with a Candy Pail in hand. Witches are also out and about - be wary of their tricks.Expand the Tabs below to learn more about the season:
Obtaining Candy
Candy is the gift of the Season - and can only be obtained on Halloween Night.
Candy can be obtained in two ways:
1. Killing Witches (Halloween Night they will be out in FULL FORCE).
2. Obtaining a Candy Pail from a Trader of Holiday Spirit and Trick or Treating from Iron Golems and Enderman (The Candy Pail must be in your main hand in order to receive Candy from these Mobs - Only Mobs with Orange Particles will give you Candy - Once a Mob has given Candy it will not give Candy again until the next Halloween Night).
Candy Usage:
*You can give Candy to Trick or Treaters (Baby Zombies) on Halloween Night by having Candy in your Main Hand.
*Trick or Treaters will give you a reward in return (This is your chance to receive Spirit Shards).
*You can eat candy if you desire.
*Villagers also like Candy - although they will not give you anything in return.

Spooky Cat Decoration
Description: Spooky Cat Decorations are a decorative Item that can be placed by right clicking.
Black Cat - Mob Egg
Description: Black Cat Spawn Eggs Spawn a tamed Black Cat by right clicking.
Witch Hat - Wearable
Description: Witch Hats are a wearable Hat that gives you the same protection as an Iron Helmet.
Placing: In order to place the Witch Hat, it needs to be placed into an Item Frame. If you right click the Witch Hat onto the ground without an Item Frame it will turn into a Pumpkin :(
Halloween Spider - Mob Egg
Description: Halloween Spider - Spawn Eggs Spawn a tamed Halloween Spider by right clicking.
Halloween Spiders are a Tamed Pet that follows you around and attacks hostile mobs.
Healing: Halloween Spiders can be fed meats/rotten flesh in order to restore health.
Special Attacks: When the Halloween Spider attacks it inflicts Poison on the target (If applicable). The Spider also gains a speed boost and regeneration when it bites a target.
Sleeping: Halloween Spiders can be told to sleep by right clicking.
Breeding: Halloween Spiders currently cannot be Bred. This might change with future updates.
Pumpkin Scythe - Sword
Description: The Pumpkin Scythe is an extremely strong weapon capable of delivering deadly blows and granting the user life steal.
Special Ability: This sword has a 33% chance of setting regeneration upon damaging a mob.
Zombie Armor
Description: Zombie Armor is a new armor set that can be obtained through the Trader of Holiday Spirit. Zombie Armor is slightly better then Iron Armor. The Cap does not degrade, the other pieces do. The Tunic, Leggings, and Boots can be repair with Leather. The Tunic, Leggings, and Boots can also be enchanted via the Enchanting Table.
Important Note: In order to place the Zombie Cap, it needs to be placed into an Item Frame. If you right click the Zombie Cap onto the ground without an Item Frame it will turn into a Pumpkin :(

A couple questions:
-What other datapacks are you using (If any)
-Are you running this on Realms or a private server?
-Is there any particular event/item seems to be most frequent with the lag spikes?
Thanks for the feedback.
I haven't come across the bug where you cannot access the advancements tab.
Are Advancements completely disabled while using this data pack? Or can you simply not access the Advancements tab?
Then, to "confirm" it was yours, I loaded yours singly, and then immediately opened "L", and found the same message. This time, though, I did NOT make sure to GET an achievement first.
Most datapacks use Advancement tabs right off the start of the game, which when yours didn't, it threw me off. Honestly, Mojang needs to redo some of the Advancement page features. Right now, you only get 26 tabs. The base game takes 5... Then if you add Blaze and Caves, you're up to 16-20. And that doesn't leave much room for anything else. I've been so inundated when Advancement tabs of late, it didn't occur to me on the followup test, that you might not HAVE a tab at game launch.
In short, I think the first error was a fluke, and possibly NOT related to your data pack. I've been playing with it for testing all day today, and it seems to be operating just fine, alongside my 75 other data packs.
Bug testing is all part of the process.
