Datapack originally made in 2021 for 1.16, Version 1.0.   Version 2.0 was lost during the two years.

Stop building note block circuits.
Now, it's ALL-IN-ONE, and totally-portable.

How does it work?

Aren't you tired of placing a lot of noteblocks, occupy space and waste materials?
Now you can just craft a Music Block. With the note block will come a Customisable Music Disc, you can change every note pitch and instrument, change the delay time between the notes, and play your disc just lighting up a redstone lamp under the music block.

You wanna change the position of your "tiny note block circuit"?
Just take the disc and place it in a music block somewhere else, or just break the block. It's all in the disc (max 99 notes per disc).

Max volume is not enough?
Craft some speakers and they will automatically connect when you play from your block.

Compose, play, import, export... everything in-game

How to create your own disc.
1) Craft a Music Block
2) Place it
3) Change every note and instrument just clicking on it
4) Move through the pages (9 notes are not enough for your music)
5) Change volume and music speed
6) Light a lamp under the block to play it
7) Remove your disc to take your music everywhere!

Datapack created by UltroGhast years ago for 1.16, updated to 1.19.2.
The concept included also Timing Block, Play Block, Piano and some other features that have been lost.
A new 1.20 rewritten version might be coming in the future.

Update to 1.19.2 : by UltroGhast 10/12/2023 10:29:28 amOct 12th, 2023

As a datapack created originally for 1.16, the code structure is still old and will be rewritten soon.

Anyway, now I made it to convert it in 1.19.2, and it fully available for download.

Sorry, it looks like I forgot to load the file.

Now you can just go and download it. Remember the support resource pack!

It's a datapack, the support resource pack does generally not affect minecraft default texture (except note blocks in this case)

It works as any other datapack support resource pack. As long as it's the only support resource pack the possibilities of clashing are around 0%, if you use more datapacks needing a support resource pack you would eventually need to merge them together.
