Ever wanted your horse to have Frost Walker? How about depth strider and soul speed for your skeleton horse? Feather Falling for your... uh... llama? If you can ride it, you can put boots on it. Yes...sigh...even a saddled pig.

Boots on Mounts
Right-click a saddled or tamed ridable mob while holding a pair of boots to equip it onto the mob. If boots are already equipped, they will be dropped onto the ground. Right-click the mob with a shovel to use it like a shoehorn and pry the boots off. The boots cannot be equipped/unequipped while the horse is being ridden. You cannot unequip non-boot items that are placed into a mob's boots slot by another datapack.
All enchants you can put onto a pair of boots work. This allows your mounts to get the benefits of boot enchants and the extra defense of an extra piece of armor.
Enchanted Golden Apples
Normally in Vanilla Minecraft feeding an enchanted golden apple to a horse is no better than feeding it a normal golden apple, but this pack changes that. Feeding a horse an enchanted golden apple gives it 5 minutes of speed IV, resistance I, and fire resistance I. This is mostly the same as what players get but tweaked for horses.
Enchanting Horse Armor
Put a chestplate and horse armor of matching material in a smithing table to smith the enchants from a chestplate onto the horse armor.
I patched the glitch in vanilla Minecraft where it clears enchants off of horse armor when you equip the horse armor onto the horse by right-clicking it with it.
Planned Features
Also planning on adding mounted ender-pearling support.
Planning to hopefully find a way to allow beacon effects to carry over to mounts while riding them.
I plan on adding a joke feature for equipping elytra onto pigs.
