This is a rather small datapack but a large improvement for survival gameplay. After harvesting wheat and sugar cane, I always had to search for a crafting table to craft them into bread and paper - but I always found none. So I tweaked the crafting recipes a bit:

Paper and bread now have a shapeless recipe, which means they can now be crafted in the small 2*2 crafting grid in the player's inventory.

your data pack is simular to my bamboo to paper data pack making the sugar cane shapeless should have thought of it :)
