Islands Overworld is a worldgen datapack that add a dimension made of flying islands. Fly high into the sky to enter this world.

If you prefer to replace the overworld by the islands (instead of adding a dimension), look at Islands Overworld.

Installation

  • Double check the compatibility between Minecraft's version and datapack's version (worldgen can mess up real quick).
  • Create a new world and drag the datapack upon world’s creation.
  • Make sure the spawn is correct.

Traveling

  • Fly high in the sky to reach the flying island dimension
  • Descend in altitude in the flying islands to return to the overworld

Islands intensities (Patreon feature)

You can chose islands intensity between 5 values: tiny, small, medium, large and massive.
A different datapack can be downloaded for each intensity.

I just wanted to say I love this Dp so much, I have messed around on it just a little and its so cool honestly..



I do have a suggestion/ request, obviously doesnt need to made but would it be possible to have a datapack where you have a relative normal overworld but when it hits specific coords like lets say y200 the islands start generating and maybe at relatively small quantities?.

I would love to turn render dist and distant horizons on and see something that I would have seen back in alpha, beta or even early pocket edition..

Plus then the flight up isnt as high as the dimension.. ^u^

Follow the "installation" section above.

Worldgen is kinda boring for that. You can't add or remove it once the world is generated!

please fix free version

i set the world spawn somewhere up on the upper world and if i die i spawn on the bottom and lost a cool island and can't find it again even with a compass
