Due to a bug in Minecraft, it is possible to use datapacks to both crash your game and then make you unable to join that world again (unless you remove the datapack).

If you want to try out this totally exciting datapack that destroys your world, then now you can.


Obviously, only do this on a fresh world or on a copy of your world. NEVER use it on a world that is important to you, it will permanently destroy it.

what exactly causes the crash/corruption? Looking at the crash log it says it was player data corruption, but it looked fine in NBTExplorer.

Not sure myself, but I found this bug while working on a different datapack. It seems to be caused by an advancement with the inventory changed trigger and a reference condition, where the referenced predicate doesn't exist.

I've already reported the bug, but it seems to have gone unnoticed. It has been in the game for at least a year by now.
