Required Resource Pack
175
With this pack, you can call bombing raids on the targets of your choosing, then sit back and watch them be obliterated!
You'll need to gather a couple of things first:
•a Flint and Steel
•a Target Block
•a Fire Charge
Got them all? Alrighty, here goes....
First, you'll need to 'paint the target' (have a look at this if you're unfamiliar with the expression). Hold your Target block in your off hand, and use your Flint and Steel to paint your current location as the target for a bombing raid. Your target will be visible at your position as a Glass block with a small Target inside it.
You can't paint another target while you have one painted - you'll need to destroy your target first (as easy as breaking glass). Additionally, players can smash each other's targets, preventing them from calling in a bombing raid until they paint a new target - so hide it well, and keep your eyes open!
Once your target is painted, get yourself a safe distance away (80+ blocks from the target) for safety... and then you're ready to call the bombs. Hold your Fire Charge in your off hand, and use your Flint and Steel to call the bomber. Grab some popcorn, but do it quickly - in a few seconds, the warheads will rain down from the sky and turn the target into a hole in the ground.
The bombs will detonate when they come in contact with anything solid they impact above the target, as it should be. It's important to keep in mind however that this may cause your painted target block to remain intact - meaning you can simply drop more bombs on the same spot without further painting, but that you'd still need to destroy your target before you can paint another.
This one's just for fun... but it's very satisfying!
Enjoy! And don't forget the resource pack :)
