If you're speedrunning Minecraft, you want the timer so you know how much time has elapsed since the world has 100% loaded.

This datapack is designed for "speedrun" worlds so you know the time. It is also compatible with ONE of my health datapacks; you just can't install both of my health datapacks. Additionally, if you need/want to kill the ender dragon within a certain amount of time, you can also configure a time limit.

HOW IT WORKS?
The objective is to beat the ender dragon with only ONE LIFE, and (if time limit is toggled on) within your time limit. If you die, or (if time limit is toggled on) run out of time, you will fail the speedrun.

You need to type /reload to load up the menu. You can set any difficulty listed in the menu; by default, the difficulty is Normal. However, be ware that you can't change the difficulty after you start the speedrun, so make sure that the difficulty you set is confident before starting.

You can also set a time limit when speedrunning. You can toggle this before you start the speedrun. The time limit can be anywhere between 15 minutes and 6 hours; 1 hour is the default. Minutes can be multiples of 5. Please do note that you cannot configure these options after you start the speedrun. Also, attempting to set a time limit outside the range will result in an error message.

Note: It is recommended that you DO NOT MOVE until you start the speedrun.

Hitting the start button will start the clock, but you can't change the difficulty afterwards. And once you hit that button. . . you can't hit it again.

You can also play with other players and work together, and the same rules apply. However, players that join after the speedrun started will not have their timer shown, so be sure that you have all players online before you start.

This datapack is designed for 1.16+ as otherwise the custom HP tint wouldn't render below this version. It works fine itself in 1.13+, even with the HP indicator datapack, but if you want to use the custom HP datapack, you need to use 1.16+.

Update #1: time limits : by pinksheep451 12/27/2022 4:30:07 pmDec 27th, 2022

- You can now configure time limits before speedrunning. It can be anywhere between 15 minutes and 6 hours. If you toggle time limits, you need to kill the ender dragon within your limit, otherwise you also fail the speedrun.
