Modern Guns adds over 10 new real life guns into Minecraft! You have likely seen these guns before in other games like CoD or Far Cry. These guns have a wide range of different stat combinations to make each one unique in its own way!

All of the recipes for the guns in this pack can be viewed in the crafting manual of the vanilla crafting table. You can also give youself the guns added by this datapack by running the give functions: /function give:[gun_name]

Modern Guns is an addon datapack for my other datapack, Gamingbarn's Guns. This means YOU NEED Gamingbarn's Guns TO USE THIS PACK.

You can make your own pack just like this by using the Gun Generator and Ammo Generator from my website!

Buffed ammo crafting recipes
All ammo recipes now award more ammo items per recipe

Added zoom recoil reduction
Now, aiming will reduce the recoil of the current gun
Also adjusted the base recoil values of most guns

Tweaked most gun stats
The changes are too numerous to list here
Most changes involve increases to various stats

Fixed missing Austeyr EF88 and M134 Minigun in give_all function
When the /function give:all_modern_guns function was ran, it wouldn't give those two guns

Fixed missing PG 7V Rocket give function
It didn't exist

Fixed misspelled M4 Carbine name
The name had an extra A

i dowloaded Modern Guns, and each time i want to open it, it says that I cant use it because it could be malware, any explanation? Im on a Mac btw

I'm guessing you're not installing the pack correctly. It's a simple drag-and-drop into the vanilla Minecraft "data packs" screen. I can assure you that the file isn't malware. It's near impossible to put malware inside a datapack.

i tried it a few times over 4 days, and I just fund another way of putting the packs into my server, and they work perfectly, tho nothing loads, for example the guns are fishing rods, and the turrets are a frame, do I need to install something else to have the stuff showing? I have 3 datapacks rn

You also need the Gamingbarn's Guns resource pack. The resource pack can be found on the "versions" page on Modrinth for Gamingbarn's Guns.

i have this one, gamingbarn's Guns recource pack, and I have another pack that was under the gamingbarn's pack that also had to be downloaded

What other resource packs do you have applied? Gun models and other item models not appearing as custom models is the result of a resource pack issue.

when i try to use this datapck with my datapack that adds new structures the datapack that adds new structures doesn't work
