This pack adds a netherite bow to the game, with various useful abilities to explore!


How to Install:

Download the zip file, that contains both the DataPack and the Resource Pack.

The unzip that archive and drag "Netherite Bow Resource Pack" to %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks.
Then drag "Netherite Bow Datapack" to %appdata%/.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacks.

Enter the world or hit /reload if you already entered the world while draging the files.

If you see a message, then you are good to go.


When you install the datapack for the first time, a new ID will be generated every time a new player enters the world

Abilities

- Fire: Ignite fire where the arrow lands.
- Frost: Freeze enemies and water where arrow lands.
- Poison: Poison enemies near where the arrow lands.
- Smoke Cloud: Create a smoke cloud where the arrow lands, giving Slowness III and Blindness III for 5 seconds to the enimies nearby.
- Spectrum: Gives you invisibility III for 8 seconds.

Unlockable Abilities

- Teleport: Teleports you to where the arrow lands (Max distance: 200 blocks)
- Telekinesis: Makes every mob in the area where the arrow lands levitate for 5 second.
- Thunder: Summons Lightning Bolts around you and wherever the arrow lands.
- Soul Stealer: Gives wither effect to mobs near the area the arrow lands for 5 seconds.

Select an Ability

First place the Netherite Bow in your offhand. A GUI will appear above your hotbar. Scroll through your hotbar to select an ability and press shift to confirm your choice. After that your hotbar free movement will be allowed without changing the ability.

How to use an Ability

There are two ways abilities are used: Either by shooting an arrow and sneaking.
- Fire: Sneaking/Shooting - Sneak to get Fire Resistance II for 10 seconds. Shoot to set fire to where the arrow lands.
- Frost: Shooting/Sneaking on specific block - Shoot to make mobs near to where the arrow lands stuck and freeze water nearby. Shift while standing on ice or snow to get speed II for 10 seconds.
- Poison: Shooting - Shoot to give poison I to every mob near to where the arrow lands.
- Smoke Cloud: Shooting - Shoot to create a smoke cloud that gives Slowness III and Blindness III for 5 seconds to every mob near to where the arrow lands.
- Spectrum: Sneaking/Shooting - Sneak to become invisible for 8 seconds and shoot to create the same effect as Smoke Cloud.
- Teleport: Shooting and Sneaking - Shoot an arrow and then sneak to teleport to where the arrow landed (Max range: 200 blocks)
- Telekinesis: Sneaking/Shooting- Shoot an arrow to give levitation II for 5 seconds to all entities near to where the arrow lands, and sneak to get Slow Falling for 10 seconds.
- Thunder: Sneaking/Shooting - Sneak to summon Lightning Bolts near you, shoot to summon a Lightning Bolt where the arrow lands
- Soul Stealer: Shooting - Shoot an arrow to give wither to all mobs near to where the arrow landed.


Unlock more Abilities

In order to add more abilities, you&#39;ll need to combine the Netherite Bow with specific items on the Obsidian Forge in order to upgrade it.
