No Elytra Exploration

Do you miss the excitement of exploring your Minecraft world the old-fashioned way, before the elytra took over? This datapack will force you to cast aside your elytra when exploring new areas, while still allowing the use of elytra in already explored areas.

The addition of the elytra was a major game changer. Being able to fly around in survival is a huge advantage (and often a lot of fun!), but when it comes to exploring new areas of the world with an elytra I personally feel that it quickly becomes boring and repetitive. Feel free to call me an idiot if you do not agree with this, but if you do this datapack might be something for you.

Note that areas explored before installing this datapack will not register as "discovered", and will have to be re-discovered. You do not have to be in an area for long before it is save to fly in, but if you leave the known part of the map, things start to happen related to blindness, lightning and major durability loss!

- Download the .zip file and place it inside the datapacks folder in your world save.
