This datapack adds a way to get the new light block. This block is only seen when held in the hand, similar to the barrier block. It also adds that the light level can be easily seen without the need to use F3. To remove the light blocks in survival you can put the light in the secondary hand, then the block you are looking at will be marked with a black outline, just sneak and the light block will break. Right clicking on the block will increase the light level one by one to a maximum of 15, where it will be set to 0, as it happens by default.

The block can be obtained through villagers. Clerics of maximum level have a 45% chance of giving a block of light for one of bright ink and twenty-five emeralds, this trade has 8 uses per restock. Wandering traders have a 60% chance of giving you a light block for one bright ink and ten emeralds, with a maximum of 3 uses.
