Overview

Player Mobs is a Datapack for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.21. The Datapack adds new mobs in the form of Player Mobs. Those are normal mobs with player heads, armor and their own Loot Table. There are seven Player Mobs in total: Merijn_G, neorg313, noanerd, Twockx, Sorey, Tijd4Jan and Vam3n. They can replace a percentage of certain mobs, like skeletons, zombies, creepers, zombified piglins and endermen. Some Player Mobs are only found in certain biomes or in the Nether.
There is a 5% chance that a Player Mob drops an armor piece. This is 8.5% for normal mobs, but because every Player Mobs has armor, not enchanted, it's being brought down to stop spawners from overflowing as fast. There is also a 2% chance a Player Mob drops its head.
One of the Player Mobs, neorg313, drops a Sensing Potion. This potion gives you the ability to see diamond, gold, redstone and emerald ores, as well as ancient debris when you're looking at it (also through walls) from 8 blocks or closer.

Merijn_G

Merijn_G spawns 10% of all skeletons. He has leather and iron armor on, a wooden sword and a shield. These are his drops:

• Oak Log (0-3)
• Shield (0-1)

Neorg313

Neorg313 spawns 10% of all zombies in certain biomes (Dripstone Caves Lush Caves, Deep Dark, Stony Peaks, Windswept Hills, Windswept Forest, Windswept Gravelly Hills and Stony Shore). She has leather and iron armor on and an iron pickaxe in her hand. These are her drops:

• Dried Kelp (0-4)
• Iron Pickaxe (0-1)
• Potion of Sensing (Adds a sensing ability if you look towards (hidden) diamond, gold, redstone or emerald ores and ancient debris, 8 minutes) (0-1)

Vam3n

Vam3n spawns 20% of all creepers in certain biomes (Dripstone Caves Lush Caves, Cherry Grove, Meadow en Mangrove Swamp). He has leather and diamond armor and holds a stone sword. These are his drops:

• Amethyst Shard (1-2)
• Cherry Leaves (1-3)

Tijd4Jan

Tijd4Jan spawns 10% of all skeletons. He has leather and golden armor on and an iron pickaxe in his hand. These are his drops:

• Golden Nugget (0-10)
• Name Tag (0-1)

Before 1.19, Tijd4Jan was a Boss. To spawn him, hou had to put Netherite armor on an armor stand and throw two diamond blocks on top of it.

Noanerd

Noanerd spawns 10% of all zombified piglins. She has leather and golden armor on and a knockback stick in her hand. These are her drops:

• Magma Cream (0-2)
• Gold Ingot (0-2)
• Diamond (0-1, very rare)

Sorey

Sorey spawns 10% of all zombies in certain biomes (Dripstone Caves Lush Caves, Deep Dark, Stony Peaks, Windswept Hills, Windswept Forest, Windswept Gravelly Hills and Stony Shore). He has leather and diamond armor on and stone sword in his hand. These are his drops:

• Torch (0-16)
• Leather (0-6)

Before 1.19, Sorey was a Boss (then named Fleru). To spawn them, you had to put diamond armor on an armor stand and throw two emerald blocks on top of it.

Twockx

Tijd4Jan spawns 20% of all Endermen. He has iron and diamond armor on and an iron sword in his hand. These are his drops:

• Ender Pearl (0-1)
• Bottle 'o Enchanting (0-1)

Bugs fixed: Merijn_G's head didn't work, Tijd4Jan's head dropped too much and noanerd's Player Mob is now called 'noanerd'.
A few tweaks have been made to the Twockx Player Mob Loot Table.

Reworked the Potion of Sensing from the Potion of Mining.

Changed Sorey's name in the code from 'SuperFleurNL' to 'FleruThePerson' to match his username.

Added an option using '/trigger pm_options' to enable and disable the spawning of Player Mobs.

Trivia

This Datapack was a remake from a Command Block Creation I made in 2019.

This is the first Datapack where you don't need a resource pack in newer versions, but do in older ones.
