Small, cosmetic datapack that adds titles to small things in the game! See the dimension name when you switch dimension, see the current biome you are in and maybe get something when you kill a powerful foe..


Config Options
Most aspects of the datapack can be configured using the following commands:
/trigger gamerule.repeatBossTitlesIf enabled, boss titles will be shown every time one is killed, else it is just shown the first time one is killed.
/trigger gamerule.repeatDimensionTitlesIf enabled, dimension titles will be shown every time you enter a dimension, else it is just shown the first time.
/trigger gamerule.showCurrentBiomeIf enabled, your current biome will be shown in the action bar.

Dear naomieow,

I am absolutely crazy about this datapack. I must ask, would it be possible to make it so that the biome titles will show up everytime one enters a biome, regardless of if it has been discovered previously? The concept is so cool, it tickles my rpg brain everytime I see a biome title, and id love to see it more.

Sorry for the obscenely slow response, haven't checked PMC in months, maybe closer to a year.

A rewrite for RPGTitles is planned in the future - possibly will start when the 1.21 pre-releases start dropping - and this will have a lot more customization options. It isn't being worked on right now because I am focusing on other projects, namely my mods. Hey you should definitely add an option to see current biome as a title when holding a compass, I would greatly appreciate it, I've been wanting something like this forever now.

Example: you're in a biome you don't recognize, so you hold a compass in your hand and a title (not action bar) appears with the biome's name!
Pleaseeeeee that would be sick :o

I know this is for Java, but if Mojang add data packs with C++ code to Bedrock, I would use this in my map!

This specific version won't work on bedrock edition, but it's probably possible for someone to make a bedrock version!
