      Hello world!

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the creation of my Planet Minecraft account, and in honour of that I am going to be releasing, for the first time ever, THREE - count 'em - THREE unreleased maps that were either really old or abandoned.

I will be releasing them exclusively on this wall post as well as on my Discord and Twitter, I will not be making project posts for these maps

Let's take a look, shall we?

      Disaster Desert:
Disaster Desert was a CTM map inspired by Vechs' Super Hostile maps, although the goal is different to collecting wool since I wanted to be different, and it is more open-world styled with numerous dungeons, each containing an objective.
This map was never released for a number of reasons, mostly because it is actually really difficult to create a decent CTM without using third-party tools or mods such as MCEdit or World Edit, and at the time I wanted to create everything by hand. Which I did. And I ended up with this.
You will see, however, that a few elements of it did make their way into my later maps...
Play this map on Minecraft 1.5.2. Some redstone may break on later versions.

      Water Wars:
Water Wars was a PVP map in the same style as the Battle Castle and Redstone Rampage, however it was nowhere near as good, and it was also really spread out which made gameplay a bit tedious. This was the main reason why it was never released on Planet Minecraft alongside its cousins.
This map can probably be played on any version, but I'd stick with 1.5-1.8 to be safe.

      Beacon Defence
      :
Beacon Defence was an adventure/game map that centred around defending a beacon from waves of zombies. You could choose from multiple different classes and buy upgrades.
This was originally going to be the map released after Assassin of Steve 2 but before Assassin of Steve 3, however it was abandoned when trying to update it for version 1.9 due to the insane amount of overhauls to combat, nbt and command blocks that it entailed, as well as a number of Minecraft bugs that made it unplayable.
An unfinished 1.9 version probably exists somewhere but I seem to have lost it, silly me. So included is the latest backup I have for Minecraft 1.8.9, and you should play on that version. About 45% of the intended map is completely playable, however I can only guarantee decent balancing on the first 30% or so.
It also has a required resource pack so don't forget to install that and turn it on if you intend to play.

MAPMAKER'S WARNING: I cannot guarantee stability and I will not be fixing any bugs, so if you run into any, you are on your own! In addition, Beacon Defence's custom crafting feature was never fully explained within the map

With all that said, download the BlazeandCave Seventh Anniversary Collection here:

      Hello world!

The first thing I'll just quickly clear up in this wall post is that I have changed my Planet Minecraft name from blazeandcave to Cavinator1, since blazeandcave was about both me and my friend back when we created this account in 2013. But now that it's basically me, and that I've put out the page for my upcoming map, I felt it would be right to change it to better suit my branding.

What's that? Oh yeah, my upcoming map!

The Planet Minecraft page for my upcoming sci-fi adventure map Celestial Protocol is now here! It isn't out yet, currently standing at about 75% completion, but you can check out the planet minecraft page for information and get hyped!

      Hello world!

With the Nether Update's arrival, I have released BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack for 1.16, with over 120 brand new advancements, many related to the Nether Update! This is quite evident since the Nether tab has more than doubled in size.

The next major update for the datapack will contain a few more advancement ideas that didn't quite make it into this update in time, but also one brand new feature for those who achieve the most challenging of advancements. ;)

      Hello world!

The second teaser trailer of my upcoming sci-fi adventure map Celestial Protocol is now available to watch!
There's a lot to see here (and I spent the last two days on this video) so if you have two minutes to spare it would mean a lot to me to give it a watch and also to share around if you like what you see!

      Hello world!

A bit late to say happy new years (we're practically halfway through the first month already :O ), but we just hit 30,000 downloads on BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack from just Planet Minecraft alone, which is an incredible amount, especially when considering that we were only on 5000 downloads at the start of last year.

So here's to another great year!
