Safety for Rabbits

I don’t like the idea of killing rabbits, so I made a resource pack/datapack combination that replaces rabbit hide with bat wings and moves the item to the bat’s loot table. This’ll also make the bundles be crafted of leather, as it being made of bat wings makes no sense. You’re still able to craft 4 bat wings into leather, so there’s a source of leather underground now.


Basically, bats are semi-useful now and you don’t have to kill rabbits to get bundles. The loot table change is backwards compatible to older versions, but since it changes the bundle recipe, it’s not fully compatible.


This is a completed datapack/resource pack, but I may update it in the future to remove more drops from the rabbit to keep them more safe from players’s needs. If I do that, I’ll be sure to give them some use.
