Required Resource Pack
683
Hi there! this is a resource pack and data pack combo where there are more biomes mostly based on the beaches but have some other stuff in it too.
Optifine and the resource pack are required here's the resource pack:www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/shrimp-s-shores-and-mores/
this would never be possible if it weren't for the bootleg Minecraft generation data pack from Aelve here's the pack for anyone who also want to make stuff like this: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/imitation-of-vanilla-layered-with-multi-noise-experimental/
Contents:
2 new pebble beach biomes that have some grass and rocks, you can find one of the variants in the shores of taigas and the other one in the shores of mountains(not all).
2 new sand beaches:
-the black sand beach next to a jungle (hint if you find a birch forest to jungle you're in the right spot), this is accompanied by a volcanic reeef and volcanic archipelagos
.the pink sand beach, spawn next to a jungle edge biome and it's less rare you can find them next to black sand beaches too.
2 new archipelagos:
the volcanic archipelago, one of my favourite biomes, has archipelagos with some jungle foliage on them
the archipelago is made of terracotta and found everywhere it breaks up the ocean a bit with a very nice vibe.
3 new ocean biomes
the volcanic reef - a normal reef with black sand,
the dead reef - to make you feel bad about climate change >:(, few corals are clinging to life still maybe you can save them
the guardian lair - one of my favourite too, very deep and blue it has red plantlife prismarine corals and guardian roaming about
hope you enjoy I'm new to data packs so bear in mind there are some bugs:
-no tall birch forest
-the rotation of the dead fans are weird
these problems won't be fixed in this pack but instead in my next pack where i change a lot more stuff basically the entire generation with more biomes like the volcanoes and super tall birch forest

can't wait to see it
One more thing regarding archopelagos - would't it be better (IMO definitely more eye-pleasing) to have it generated as a surface, not a feature?
