Description

I have added many types of Lucky Blocks into Minecraft! This will result in something when broken, which can either be very bad, bad, neutral, good or very good! All you need for this to work is my datapack and my resource pack activated. You can put this datapack in any world save file or when generating a new world. It even works on servers! Obtaining

To obtain a Lucky Block, you will need to craft it up as seen below. This will give you 5 lucky blocks. Once you place one down, you can either break it to get a random outcome. Alternative Method: Use the command /function luckyblocks:get to get a lucky block

Other Lucky Blocks

There are 3 types of lucky block; the Normal lucky block (described above), the Blessed lucky block, the Risky lucky block and the Effect lucky block.

Blessed Lucky Block: This can be made by dropping a diamond block on top of a normal lucky block. It will make the lucky block turn blue and use up the diamond block. When you break a lucky block of this type, it will only drop Lucky and Super Lucky tier items. You cannot mine this with a silk touch pickaxe, it will just function as normal.

Risky Lucky Block: This can be made by dropping a Redstone block on top of a normal lucky block. It will make the lucky block turn red and use up the Redstone block. When you break a lucky block of this type, it will have a 50% chance to drop a Super Unlucky tier item and a 50% chance to drop a Super Lucky tier item. You cannot mine this with a silk touch pickaxe, it will just function as normal.

Effect Lucky Block:This can be made by dropping a Water Bottle on top of a normal lucky block. It will make the lucky block turn pink and use up the Water Bottle. When you break a lucky block of this type, it will pick a random effect from all Minecraft effects, whether they are good or bad, and then give you the effect for 30 seconds.

Usage

The lucky block is very simple to use, all you have to do is break the block for the random outcome. There are 5 tiers of outcomes: Super Unlucky, which will almost certainly result in something bad, Unlucky, which is quite bad outcomes but you probably won't die, Neutral, which drops random items and blocks, Lucky, which can give good armour and tools and resources, and Super Lucky which will drop the best enchanted loot and stuff like that. In the future, I plan to add more different types of lucky block.

Mining it back

If you break the lucky block with a silk touch pickaxe, the lucky block will drop itself instead of activating it as normal. This will only work with a normal lucky block, and breaking other kinds of lucky block with silk touch will activate that lucky block!
