Sunken containers is a 1.20.4 update of sunken chests and barrels. This datapack adds chests, barrels, chest boats and pots as a fishing treasure. Fish them up and place them down to get the stuff out of the containers. The contents are made from mostly vanilla loot tables that fit with the theme of fishing.
I balanced this pack to be great for a survival world. It should be compatible with most other datapacks, it only changes three vanilla files (treasure.json, junk.json, and village_fisher.json).




These containers grouped together are as rare as each of the other treasure items such as name tags. So if you are trying to keep a zombie villager alive this is a 0% probability. You can expect to find one or so container 90% of the time after fishing for a full Minecraft day and night with a fully enchanted fishing rod.

!!WARNING FOR UPDATING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION OF THIS PACK!!
If you update a world from a previous version of this datapack and remove the old datapack from the world, old chests and barrels will not generate their loot. Before switching out the files you will want to generate the loot of all of your unopened sunken treasure first.
