A Datapack adding three different working viking ships!


To get started, simply install the both the datapack and resourcepack and once in-game, check the advancments tab for guidance.

You can enable floor collision with /scoreboard players set #floor_collision norse_adventure.value 1

Hi, checked the datapack code, and there is no more collision system in it, is it possible to fix that? Thanks

Hey there. I've had to remove floor collision in the latest update due to it causing some issues on multiplayer. I'm hoping to be able to redo the system in order to improve on those issues in a future update.

If you really want to use floor collisions right now, I'd suggest using an older version of the datapack while I'm working on the new code.

THIS MOD IS BROKEN, DO NOT TRY AND USE IT

Absolutely disgusting behavior by the mod creator. No read me file, nothing on this page or GitHub, refuses to answer basic questions everyone is asking him in the comments about the crafting recipes because his mod is broken and does not display properly. I was excited to use this for my server, but after a frustrating hour and a half of Googling and trying every version possible, I will never be touching this mod or any other mods by the creator.

Hey there! I'm sorry you've been having issues with the datapack, however this does not warrant a comment as hostile as this. The included image below shows the newest version of the datapack and resourcepack on a completely fresh, vanilla 1.21.10 instance. The recipes are clearly laid out in the advancements tab as stated in the description.

I'm only one person and don't always have the time to update my datapacks to the latest version or reply to every comment. That's just how things are unfortunately.

Hey there. In what way did it not work? Did it show up at all? Do the other features of the pack work at all or can you verify that it's loaded correctly?

I understand being one person and not having time to update, that is not the issue. Multiple people have told you that the advancements tab does not display correctly, and instead of posting the recipes (as you neglected to do in this case as well) so people can enjoy the datapack, you basically tell them "tough luck." It doesn't matter if you see the pack correctly when you have dozens of comments saying it is broken.

I can't find the recipes on the achievements menu, is there any other way to see or know how to build the ships? I'm on 1.21 btw
