This here is a fully-functioning drivable tank that I made for my brother's birthday. All in vanilla Minecraft! All you need to do is place down a 3x3 square of iron blocks and drop one of six special items on the middle.
List of items:
- Green Dye
- Dirt
- Sand
- Snowball
- Gray Dye
- Purple Dye
Each item will create a tank of a different color to suit your desire. With the tank in hand, you can do anything a tank can do from roam the landscape, to leveling villages,
even battle enemy tanks! Just hop in and use the cannon like the true maniac you are.
If you run into any bugs, report them to me immediately!

As for the Discord issue, this is the third time someone has said it was an issue. It appears to be an issue with YouTube's redirect system. Clicking the same link on other sites appears to work just fine.
when i build the tank, i see only 3 items in air but not tank, anyone know how to fix it ?
We found a way about 2 years ago, but always see in youtube awful datapacks like walking house with inventory controls and this get many likes... to bad.
Also, if you re want make it better, you can replace minecart to llama or pig with invisibility. Llama is better cos this don't have seat and have inventory. where you can make some buttons for tank (but pls dont make storage here, thats have many problems)
Cos i think its bad-delete minecart texture for tanks.
I made a different WASD detection for my Pac-Man map that took the hexadecant that your motion vector lied in as compared to the hexadecant of the player's yaw, but this didn't quite work for this case as this required diagonal movements. For the tank, I simply took the arctangent of the motion vector and compared it to the yaw. Since my implementation of the arctangent is lightning fast, it causes minimal lag, if any at all. :D
creeper AWWW MANNNN
ey add some tanks like KV-85
US M26 Super Pershing.
UK Churchill
Japanese OI or something.
This will require some extra infrastructure in order to handle multiple modules if they happen to conflict, but when it is all done, it will be much more user friendly.
HBD to your brother!
