    This datapack only works in 23w04a+ with the 1.20 update enabled.
    This datapack adds turtle chestplates, leggings and boots.
    They are crafted how you would expect.

    Abilities:
    Chestplate: Gives haste when in the water.
    Leggings: Gives resistance when crouching. Does not give resistance if you are sprinting with swift sneak 1, or moving with swift sneak 2, and for swift sneak 3 you must not move for 3 seconds to get resistance.
    Boots: Gives you dolphin's grace when in the water.

    Turtle armor also protects more than iron, but less than diamond.

    You can also use scutes as an armor trim material.

    Wow! Really cool dude! This doesn't replace any existing armor right? Does this use the armor trim functionality?

    Yes it uses the armor trim functionality. When it was added I knew I needed to do something like this.

    Nice! Working on something similar right now with custom armor so I was wondering if you also did it with the trims. This is a really creative idea dude. Nice pack :)

    The power of the amour may need the be adjusted, all the buff for the sacrifice of protection is an easy deal when it's better that iron. Maybe equal to iron would be more balanced. Also perinate dolphin's grace for the boots seams really powerful.

    Why did you choose resistance for leggings? This isn't bad I just don't see the reasoning.

    The potion of the turtle master gives you resistance but also slowness. Also turtles can hide in their shell (in real life). This is why I chose that an armor piece would give resistance when crouched. I chose leggings because then it would make sense for it to be less functional with swift sneak, since swift sneak is a leggings enchantment. Swift sneak turtle leggings would be too powerful if it did not make the leggings ability restricted.
