THE MONSTER
The Bloodluster is the result of a failed experiment of creating a powerful guardian, by combining the jaw of a Ravager for defense, a Skeleton's ribs for structure, and an Iron Golem arms for strength.
To create the monster, you'll first need the jaw of a ravager, and to get one, you'll need to kill a ravager. Since ravagers are difficult to come by, I've added a feature to turn a villager into a ravager. Drop lapis lazuli and a saddle on the villager, and that gives you another failed experiment, congratulations! When a ravager dies, it will always drop its jaw.
The next ingredient is the skeleton ribs. A skeleton will sometimes drop its ribs when you kill it, but it will not work if it dies without the help of a player hurting it.
The next thing you need are Iron golem arms. When an iron golem is killed, it has a chance of letting you rip its arm off and keep it for the experiment. You will need both a left and right arm. A combination of the same arms will not work.
And last and probably the least out of the other things used, you'll need to add plain ol' rotten flesh. You'll need to get 8 of them to summon the monster.
SUMMONING
First off, you'll need to place an armor stand on top of coarse dirt. Then you throw all of the items you got from murdering several mobs onto the armor stand, and all the items will be assembled onto the armor stand. Once you do that, surround the armor stand with glass 3 blocks tall, and place a redstone block on top of the glass in the middle. You can use the piston to push the redstone block in, or just place the redstone block above the armor stand. However, I recommend using the piston method because it is way freaking cooler in every way possible.
Once you got the redstone block pushed in there, the power of the redstone will consume and corrupt the armor stand along with the items, creating the bloodluster. If you are too close to the bloodluster or there's a mob worth eating nearby, it can and will destroy the glass with its long, powerful arms and stun any mob that is too close, giving it a good chance to kill them.
FEATURES
As I mentioned earlier, the bloodluster will swing its arms at you if you're too close to them, and break any block that is in the way. If you're unable to get away from it and stay too close to it, it's gonna eat you and you will have absolutely no escape. But on the bright side, you get to see a cool new death message and worry your friends!
If you manage to kill the bloodluster, you'll get three things: its teeth, skin, and its corpse along with a death animation so you feel guilty murdering another mob after your rampage. There are two different ways to get rid of the body. The first way is to bury it by clearing its ground and covering it with blocks. The second and my personally favorite way is to burn the corpse with fire. If you do that, its skin will deteriorate and it'll disappear after two minutes.
What you can do with the items, first of all is alternatives to things. You can use teeth to make bonemeal, and its skin is an alternative for leather. However, the main feature is creating the Bloodluster hat. To create it, drop 5 teeth and 6 skin and it'll assemble a cute hat that looks like it's devouring your head when you wear it. When equipped, bloodlusters will never attack you and will only follow you to get a nice, warm hug. They may be cruel, but they're not heartless <3
I am aware of a few bugs and they will be fixed soon. It's a datapack I've been working on for a while so I wanted to show what I got so far.
