i grew up with cats, so that's what i'm choosing. we manhandled our cats since they were itty bitty kittens so they were super friendly and social. wonderful, fluffy creatures -w-

It's infuriating to me. I'm utterly annoyed at how cats are winning by almost 20 VOTES! That is insane. I thought dogs were more popular. But I'm pretty sure in the Minecraft community cats are more popular. In overall world population I'm pretty sure dogs are.

They understand human emotions.
Are playful
Love their owners and don't laze around all day
Can help with illnesses
Can make sick people feel much much better
Literally are called "Man's Best Friend!!"
Just have an emotional aura around them that helps people feel better <3
Plus they are adorable!!

They have a temper
Very sharp claws
Don't seem to care about human emotions
Can't be trained easily like dogs
Not very playful
Usually lazy
Also I've had a bad experience with all cats I've met. The worst one was when my friend's cat clawed my elbow so much I was afraid I had to get stitches. (Luckily, I never had to.)
I also might be biased towards dogs since my first ever dog was my little brother and my best friend, he recently died so yeah ^~^

Dogs bite which is even worse than scratching and they can kill people by biting
Dogs only care for people because they aren't the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree

Second it obviously didn't scratch you for no reason. Either it was scared because it might not know you that well, or you agitated it. Third I never said cats don't bite. Fourth just because there are police and firefighter dogs doesn't mean cats are dumb and dogs are smart. Cats just aren't used for stuff like firefighting and searching out stuff. Cats are more independent than dogs.
