you srs? its basically this old os that ms made that installs windows and was an os before windows, think of it like windows but its just a way too old cmd no desktop or anything also old windows versions rely on dos to run

Linux is probably better but I'm an idiot and am too lazy to learn how to set it up (same with many others). The only way Linux will stand as a worthy competitor is if they make it more simple & accessible
Distros with GUI controls do exist and there are some with preinstalled utilities that are recommended for beginners, but you really cannot make it more simple and accessible without sacrificing user control as Windows and MacOS do. That literacy is highly important anyhow and is way too mystified.

Your inclusion of MacOS will technically make windows win despite the fact that macOS and linux are basically the same, so technically either it should be a tie or Unix-likes winning.
Yes, I run on Windows. Yes, I have to uninstall Edge from my head every once in a while, but do I want to use linux and take an hour to boot up every morning? Hell nah.

Linux Is to complex, Windows adds a LOT more than needed, and Mac isn't very beginner friendly. Well... to me anyway.
