  • FAQs

    Can I take inspiration from other people's work?
    Yes you can, as long as you only take inspiration and NOT copy their work. Also, you have to give credits to the piece you were inspired by.
    Does the idiom/common phrase need to be from the english language?
    No, it can be from any language, as long as you provide an english translation.
    Is there a minimum and maximum length for stories?
    No, it's completely up to you. We don't want to limit your creativity!
    I can't think of a common phrase/idiom for a story right now! :'(
    Here are a few examples you could use:
    • a hard nut to crack
    • when pigs fly / once in a blue moon
    • (sth. is) not rocket science / (sth. is) a piece of cake
    • knowledge is power
    • better late than never
    • (sth.) costs an arm and a leg
    • to pull someone’s leg
    • a picture is worth a thousand words
