I've added a download and installation instructions for my USS Vengeance build. Please make sure you read the information in the first spoiler on the page before downloading! The modpack is fairly intensive so if you want to download and view the ship you will need to be familiar with modded Minecraft and have at least 8GB of RAM on your PC. ^-^

Given by the lack of responses to my last wall post I'm assuming nobody on here would be able to help. This is really stressing me out now because if I can't update this mod to 1.20 I will never be able to update my worlds and won't ever be able to provide any downloads for them. I fear this will kill my motivation to build entirely

You can simply try to make in mcreator. Stairs, slabs,walls are supported, but for vertical slabs, you need to get the model by yourself

Anyone on here experienced with Java? More specifically creating/updating fabric mods? I am really struggling to update an essential mod to 1.20 that I need for my builds. Without this mod I won't be able to move past 1.18.1 :(

If anyone knows anything or knows someone that might be able to help I would be extremely grateful <333

I mean it's possible, but if I update to use this mod instead. Every single block from the extrapieces mod will be deleted which is 95% of all interiors. I'd basically have to build them all again, which is something I am not prepared to do as I'd lose years of work

Unfortunately that would be beyond my coding knowledge as well, I'd need to learn more about Fabric, how the mod works, and update both the dependencies as well.

There seems to be a similar mod here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/extended-block-shapes might that work?

Silabear, dreamCritting So I am trying to update this fabric mod which was abandoned by it's original creator in 1.16.1 but was maintained by someone else up to 1.19.2 but they have now also abandoned it. This mod is pivotal to my builds so I cannot go with out it. After downloading the source code, I discovered that the mod requires two library dependencies (named Artifice and Jankson) which also have seemingly been abandoned with no stable version for 1.20 anywhere in sight. I reached out to some people involved with these to ask if 1.20 support is being planned but so far no response. I just don't know what to do and I fear that I am wasting my time and there will never be 1.20 support for this mod. I just so wish my coding knowledge was better.

Thank you guys for offering to help, it means a lot to me.

I only have much experience with forge/neoforge sadly, it's possible I might be able to make simple stuff with fabric though. What sort of mod is it? Is it just decorative blocks or are there mechanics/complex things? Does the 1.20 version need to be on Fabric or would a forge port work? Could I take a look at the mod?

As a side-project, I've begun updating my modpack to version 1.20.4. Its proving to be quite challenging as several of the mods I have been using have been seemingly abandoned by their creators so I will need to update them myself. But I accept the challenge and have managed to update 3 of them already :3. Plus, it gives me a chance to develop my coding skills :D

Today is the day! It's my BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳🎊🎉🎁🎈🎂

I had a really WONDERFUL early celebration last night. Two of our new neighbors came over to visit us and party with us last night. We had pizza, cake and ice cream!

And for presents I got a Japanese manga version of "The Phantom of the Opera" the COMPLETE manga box set of "A Silent Voice", the manga omnibus of "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" two art books of the Studio Ghibli movie "When Marnie Was There" seasons 2 and 3 of "The Chosen" plus a book sequel to Tim Burton's"The Nightmare Before Christmas" called "The Pumpkin Queen." I also got from my old boss a Batman Batcave metal sign which I'm definitely going to hang outside of my room!

Today is going to be a lot of fun too. I'm going to be working out with my trainer Rick, and he's going to be hanging out with me tonight at a pancake supper!

Also happy birthday to IGEBM too! Be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday for me!

I think I'm going to take a break from Minecraft building for a bit, I feel like I've pushed myself to make builds for the past 6 months and it's really burned me out tbh. I've also recently been dealing with some pretty big mental health and family issues so I need time to recover my mind. c:
