    I drew a pair of eyes for my OC based on this tutorial I saw by Fungzau on YouTube. Never drawn in this style before, but I think it's pretty neat.

    oh yeah, i posted a new oc skin yesterday, guys. It's the first NPC for my island build (From my previous wall post).

    He's a fisherman who lives in a little hut. Also, this is my first house build. I've never built anything like this and I feel like I did pretty well.

    P.S. I'm using a mod called EasyNPC for the guy and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do quests vs. normal dialog separately. Does anyone have any experience with this mod? Or know of any good turtorials? I'm struggling.

    How do you guys like my island build so far? I'm so proud of it rn. I've never built anything like this before. I'm building a world for my OCs and I decided to start with the smallest continent of the world. This is the island of Bonestat.

    I'm thinking about putting a temple inside the skull and a little secret society in the volcano. Not sure if the volcano is large enough for that though, lol

    Also, does anyone know how to decorate a jungle river? I'm honestly so lost on how to begin with it. I want to do the rivers before I add trees.

    Btw, I'm using Axiom for most of the big stuff and terrain. If I can figure it out, I'll release my blueprints for the vertebrae, skull, and trees. Would that be something ya'll would be interested in?

    as someone who's only ever been on console and chromebook, I am STRUGGLING to learn Windows. It took me an obnoxiously long time to find my modrinth screenshots folder. Hell, I barely figured out how to move a WorldPainter world file into an actual instance.

    Even Minecraft instances are difficult for me to understand. Like, what saves between things? Like, if I open Fabulously Optimized on Modrinth, will the worlds save or go between instances? Like, will they appear in the vanilla launcher? How do I move a vanilla world to fabric? Does that even work?

    Another thing: I definitely got windows too late. I can barely do anything without AI being shoved down my throat every second. Also, I have no idea what GPU/CPU is or how it works and I feel stupid. Why doesn't my laptop come with a personal trainer to teach me how to master the art of navigating this screen? AUGHHHHHHHH
    Creative_Kylee how do I know if my CPU is good? If it sucks, is there a way to upgrade it, or do I just have to get a better laptop?

    go to the search bar on your taskbar and type "about". click on "about this device".
    copy/paste the "processor" into your desired browser and search "is it good". usually you'll get reddit threads asking the same question. if it's good, then you're fine. if it's BS, then you may need to simply get a better laptop if that is how you prefer it. each CPU has its own pros/cons, so find what suits you and see if it's even reasonably affordable in today's economy.
    you'll also probably see it as a sticker on your laptop next to the mousepad or below the arrow keys. i personally have an intel core 17, which is pretty decent for today's society.

    I like to think of CPU for "computing," the part that does the calculations. For GPU, think of "graphics." If you want to see your parts, press the Windows key, type in "task manager" and check the performance tab. That way, you'll be able to see the specs of your computer!

    first of all: GPU is your G.raphics P.rocessing U.nit, which is what people mean when they say something like "RTX 4090". that controls the graphics of what you see on your screen, and actually processes it (hence the name.)
    the CPU is your central processing unit, which does the majority of the computation. when you open minecraft, the CPU is registering that. CPU also greatly affects your FPS, so having a good CPU is a good idea.
    i will admit that it did take me a while to get used to windows after about 2.5 years of using it, but it is really just that if you're not inherently a computer person.
    i *currently* use the default launcher, because i haven't gotten around to correctly using prism, but i'd imagine that it would still be similar using different launchers. depending on the launcher, it may or may not assist you with file management.

    everyone, look at my first ever custom trees. They're supposed to be jungle trees (except for the stump ofc)

    Any tips on how I can improve? Is there too little or too much detail? Do they even look like jungle trees? I need feedback :))

    Those are some nice trees! The Shape of the trunk and branches are really good :D
    You could make bigger/taller canopies if u wanted, i prefer it that way at least. It makes the trees look more realistic.

    Guys, I just watched the Minecraft Movie, and I'm not kidding, when Jack Black said "Chicken Jockey" everyone in the theater started cheering. A guy even picked up his daughter and began spinning her around in the air. Am I missing something??

    I mean, the audience also said "I.. Am Steve" in unison when it came up, so I shouldn't be surprised. Honestly, the most surreal experience I've ever had in a movie theater.

    Hey, I'm drawing again. This picture was supposed to be for an animation remake, but after realizing I'd spent over 10 hours on a single frame, I decided to change the idea and make it a remake of another drawing. I also redesigned him. (Those pink shoes needed to go)

    In this situation, he flew too high and passed out from the air pressure. I decided that the previous drawings are not cannon to this OC's story.

    Hello, PMCers. I'm sorry I've been inactive for so long (8 months, WOW). I've been ghosting everyone for months and I don't know why. I'm just really down I suppose. On my 18th birthday, I had to put my cat, Zaide, down. He was constipated and didn't eat or drink anything for 3 days. I got him to the vet and they said it'd cost $3,000 to get him in surgery and my family just couldn't afford it. They let me hold him while he went to sleep. That cat was the best thing I've ever had. I've never had a cat as loyal as him. He'd follow me, come to me when called. I just can't believe he's gone after 3 years.

    I know this is no excuse though. I'm not sure if I'll ever make another skin. I just don't have the motivation for it anymore. I'm older, trying to get a job, attempting to make a future for myself. Life is so difficult right now. I know most of y'all probably have your own issues to deal with and don't have time to listen to mine. I just wanted to get this out there so y'all don't think I'm dead. Maybe I'll check up here every once in a while. Other than that, it's been fun. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
