Haven't been able to post much in the way of my models/textures I've been working on (As they are related to upcoming super secret projectsᵀᴹ ), but here's a little globe graphic I put together just for personal/PaleoTech website use✨

Now that there is a light gray colored signs. I decided to try bringing back a very old design of mine. Long before I ever joined PMC. I had tried using yellow carpet over signs inside of the roadway. To make it look more like a double yellow line.

I feel like its almost too subtle of a change to be worth it?

you can make a double yellow line with stairs, powdered snow, and cushions. Place 6 levels of powered snow, put a yellow cushion on top, then quickly and carefully replace the snow with stone or grey concrete stairs by pressing the right mouse button and left mouse button at almost the same time.

SnappNote • 2026-10-06 00:17:16

it looks good but the part with the turned signs makes it look a bit awkward imo. maybe if they were straight all the way through? it's minecraft so ppl already play expecting jagged edges instead of smooth curves. But I like it, it's a nice little detail that makes things more lively.

I sort of feel like trying to design my own vehicles again. Tho Idk if I should build them in MC, or draw them on paper (perhaps maybe both). I want to try designing a Truck/Semi, or a train that could be practical In real life.

But I feel like my "realistic designs" end up looking like any other vehicle on the road. Idk if that is a good or bad thing lol

When I have so much motivation to build so many things in MC. But the actual energy to do so just isn't there >.<

Sometimes I really want to write stories. But I always hold myself to some ridiculous standard
I can't accept writing something that is just "okay" And my story idea has to be novel length, movie worthy type of perfect. Or simply just not be at all.

so I just never end up writing at all. And only just ever think about it. I wish I could break this habit lol

You can't have all figured out immediately. I've been writing a project for 9 years and it's still far from complete.

TornadoEllie • 2026-10-03 17:50:53

No one is perfect 😅 start on wattpad and who knows maybe you have a talent for it! I did a story on it and my writing sucks arse bc i have dyslexia but sometimes i just love the creativeness of it. I would never do it professionally just for funsies

Sometimes I like to play a game. Where I pick a random place on a map. And I try to imagine what I would do if I had to live there. For some reason. I find it fun trying to immerse myself into someplace. Sometimes helps me find something to build in MC to boot lol

Oop I guess it's that time of year for me to send PaleoTech nastygrams to 9Minecraft again 🙃

Had a good streak for like a year or two after the last one.

PSA for the uninitiated, 9minecraft site illegally re-uploads, re-packages, and sometimes even spikes (Infects with malware) content from the community, and lists them on their site as if they were posted by the original creator.

Do not use their website if you come across it 👍

Also, should be able to send a DMCA to them, as AvatarKage said.

Hope Is there nothing to be done about it? The site has been a plague for ages
SevenScroll • 2026-10-04 00:09:15

On a large scale no, nothing has yet to be done. But on a smaller scale yes, I've been able to email them and they've taken down my individual bits of content supposedly. I think largely because I have PaleoTech as a legal business and trademark, so I have some power to ask for such.

SnappNote that's awesome! happy for you. you plan on doing more of these in the future?
SevenScroll • 2026-10-04 01:14:11

I don't have any upcoming currently, but yes! For better or for worse I try and fit as many as I can into a short period of time so it cuts down on how much I have to unpack/repack everything to get ready, along with storing and managing stock. So it's a matter of scheduling and obv actually getting accepted into said markets.

SnappNote Oh cool! Better to be busy with opportunities than not to be. Did you sell anything at your art markets?
SevenScroll • 2026-10-04 00:26:56

Yes! The first one was a bigger event with a ton of prior promotion, but I only had about 4-5 small sales and not that many folks coming though the art area. I think it was about 5hrs total with over a month of prior prep and product making.

But the second one, was far smaller vendor wise and less promoted, run by a local museum, but had a crazy crowd of people. I sold over 40 items and almost sold out completely. Close to 8hrs total, but I was able to use most of the prep and stock created for the first one luckily.

It was a big surprise and quite encouraging in comparison.

SnappNote better than I deserve, hbu?
SevenScroll • 2026-10-01 17:53:23

Probably deserve even better ❤

I've been alright, had two giant art markets this past month +working through both art and MC commissions, + slowly chipping away at a multi year project + normal life responsibilities that I should be doing all at the same time 😭

So nothing bad on their own, which I'm thankful for, but just a bit much to handle all at once. Seems like every project I complete another three come up.

CactiFern Goes alright, lifes a bit crazy but im happy I finished my tattoo yesterday :)
