I have a thing to share coming up when my camera batteries aren't dead as I streamed the entire process to guineafish (with much laughter during the final few hours of the process). It's probably one of my favourite busts I've painted so far and I've painted a couple bangers that were given away as a gift.
If you know me and the country where I reside...let's just say the name of who I painted is along those lines.
Update : Poll Embeds on Wall Posts! You can now share forum polls directly to your wall! Head to any forum poll thread or create your own and click Share Poll to Wall. Your post will be pre-filled with a live poll embed showing the current results, voting status, and a link back to the full thread.

Looking away from the bear cave at the apiary and beekeepers house, I'm quite fond of this shot. This area does hold some secrets (it's just access for redstone areas really), those of you that know your video game secrets well enough know where they'd be hidden here.
I think I've since done some more tweaking to this area, adjusting certain plants and adding more, though they wouldn't be noticeable in the screenshot anyway, maybe I was hiding lighting, I dunno.
I'm taking my time working on this world, just doing things slowly, there's areas I'm unsure how to make work with the landscaping but I'll figure it out as I go. More plants anyone?
Enjoy the shot, again at some stage guineafish will show off her area, she has nice screenshots available to use already (you're welcome), just lazy. :^) Hopefully next time I'll have something of more substance to show off, perhaps a horse stable? Maybe some ruins?
The view from the bear cave (might i add is a little spooky but is in a good spot) to the apiary is such a good angle of everything honestly, it's just a cute corner for cave so you get a shot of the pond, rock wall, waterfall then the glowing light of the apiary all warm and welcoming :>
(He has done tweaking yes, its usually just add a plant, move a single plant, and move forward two blocks to make a crack slightly less deep, its amusing to hear it all play out. Also yes he hid and moved some lighting)
Taking time is paying off fr, i encourage everyone to take some more time because it do be nice to slow down frfr
I will yes, yuki took good base pics of mine i am just incredibly lazy
Eventually I'll show off the Bear Cave I made, but today is not that day. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to show it off, it's kinda better without shaders and I don't really like that tbh.
Anyway, I built the garden and apiary next to what will be the beekeeper's house (can't finish it until I update for sulfur blocks) and I think it's turned out quite nice. Still a bit to go, texturing the walls of the garden still for example.
I've also swapped shaders from Complementary Unbound to Photon shaders.
Still from the same world as the previous post, I've worked on the area around the pathway leading to the cave/honey farm.
I keep going back and forth on the entire area tweaking things as I go, adding and removing plants if I feel it doesn't work for the view as you walk along the path being very intentional with the placement of every single piece of grass. Even all the sea grass in the pond has been placed by hand, every single piece of grass on this island will be hand placed.
I can confirm he's been doing a lot of tweaking, legit will ponder if he should move a block or two over or change it due to some nature thing or thought he had. The dude legit ties logic into things my brain wouldn't have considered. The work shows tho because the area is so pretty to vibe in honestly. Im scared (because it's going to be good) but hyped to see the island more filled out
I have been in the Minecraft swing again recently, gone back to playing on a world shared with guineafish (a giant nerd) where I've been completely terraforming an entire island by hand in survival. While there are some mods, nothing gameplay changing, I have not used axiom/litematica to create the terrain at all and will not be using it outside of some trees as I suck at building those.
This is an area I have been working on quite heavily as I needed an automatic bee farm which is hidden under the terrain with the storage accessed via the cave I am sitting on top of. I'm really happy with the area and it's become the chill spot to hang out at in the area I'm building. Fish also has a nice chill spot too, but that'd be up to her to share.
We also only just recently killed the ender dragon after over 1000 days.
Personally I think the shulker boxes were more important than the wings. That said, the wings have definitely been useful as well.
This also isn't an understatement, it took about a month and a half to flatten the entire island, maybe 2 weeks to get the land built back up and that's not even finished yet, probably only around halfway-ish?
The amount of work this fossil of a nerd has done is absolutely scary to witness, not even joking tbh
I can confirm yuki has made a lovely terrain, with a gorgeous pond and cave both genuinely insane works of minecraft building. I am very proud of him c:
Chat it was glorious, we took forever to get to the dragon because being lazy exists, but achieving wings was immediately relieving in travelling to and from his base

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Week 2 Deadline Extended!
We are rolling out the brand-new Redemption Pool & Star Queue system, but since this information is being released later than we would like during Week 2, we want to give everyone a fair chance to participate.
Because of this, we are extending the Week 2 deadline. For those in the USA, this now falls on Thanksgiving day. Our hope is that you are already nearly finished with your skin anyway and this will not conflict with holiday plans. If it does, please inform the SSPBL team as soon as possible!!!
🕒 New Week 2 Deadline: November 27, 2025 @ 11:59 PM UTC
We’re excited to officially launch SSPBL.org, a new website for organizing and presenting SSPBL in a clearer, more structured way. Made by our very own Zitzabis.
This group page will stay active, but the website gives players and organizers a much easier way to follow the season. Instead of digging through wall posts and threads, everything is now neatly collected in one place.
Here’s what the site offers:
A clean timeline of the entire season
Easy-to-read matchup pages with direct links to polls
A visible section showing active polls so you don't miss one
Auto-updating bracket visuals for each round
An interactive bracket that allows you to click names to see their skins and poll threads
⭐ The Redemption Pool & Star Queue
The biggest addition made possible by the website is a new redemption system that encourages consistency and keeps more players involved each week.
Submit a skin every week to stay eligible!
You never know when you might get added to the redemption pool. To secure a chance to rejoin the bracket, we encourage you to keep making skins every week! (This is optional. If you are done for the season, that's ok.)
Redemption Pool = close losses from the previous week.
Submitting a skin while in the Pool can earn you stars.
Star Queue = a priority line based on how many stars you’ve earned.
Skipping a week removes you from the Star Queue and resets your stars.
Redemption Pool resets weekly; stars only reset if you skip.
This system rewards reliability, gives more players a chance to step in as replacements, and adds a fun new layer of strategy to the season.
Those who earned stars but we didn't need them as a replacement, will still get honorable mentions at the end of the season.
Redemption lists and star queue information is all displayed on the website!
Still have questions? Please make a guest book post, or PM Zitzabis with your questions. This new system might sound complicated but for most people, all you need to worry about is continuing to enjoy each week's palette and trying to make a skin with it. We'll take care of the rest. :)
This website is still new and there may be bugs. If you see a bug, please inform Zitzabis as soon as possible!
Thank you everyone for entering our preliminary jam, we got 61 contestants locked and loaded for a full season of SSPBL Classic 1! The week 1 match-ups can be found on the SSPBL group profile together with the palette for the week. We will generate the full bracket during week 1. Note that we have generated the match-ups through a random sampler. 3 participants will not have match-ups for week 1, but we still require they make a skin to make it to week 2.
I will also notify a few people who used colours that deviated a bit too much from the preliminary palette in their preliminary skin - we figure these are incidental/accidental so no one is dq'ed out of the preliminaries.
As for the palette; for week 1, we want to take you back to one of the original PBL palette tropes that I call the "two-paths" palette. The first season of PBL I ever entered used this palette scheme week 1 and I feel it always makes for great fun.
For week 1 I also want to welcome a new member of the SSPBL team. Two-time winner wqtermxlon is joining the team and has already contributed to palette testing for this week. Please welcome them to the team!
SSPBL is back! This time in a new experimental season where we return to the roots of PBL: A PBL that was made without gimmicks and without colour grids. A PBL where you mostly got 12 colours and then had to make a skin using just those colours. We call this concept SSPBL classic. Apart from the changes to palettes and lack of gimmicks, everything else you know and love about SSPBL will be the same for the season!
For the preliminary round, we have prepared a 12 colour autumn inspired palette. Cranio and I have tirelessly worked to test the palette to make sure you can use it in a multitude of ways, and I can happily say that we think you'll find working with these 12 colours a lot of fun:
If you need some inspiration, we have prepared a showcase skin that might give you some ideas as to how the colours could function!
And we will have more to come, such that the preliminary round will be as accessible as possible for everyone! In future rounds, a showcase will not immediately be posted with the palette.

Join the community in celebrating the season with contests, games, and fun activities hosted by fellow members. Whether you’re building, crafting, or just enjoying the vibes, there’s something for everyone.
In 2022 I had a bad idea, a very bad idea and this idea resulted in 8 months of labour in doing a collab skin with Allergy_Man
All we had to do was follow 4 simple rules
1. You may only place 1 pixel at a time - then send it to the other
2. You may never change a previously placed pixel - whatever we add to the skin must be kept until the final version
3. You are not allowed to use the colour picker or use a colour previously put onto the skin -we validated this by using a colour counter, which by this requirement must be the same as the file count.
4. You are not allowed to communicate at all about why a pixel was put where it was put -ie. if you have a design in mind you better hope the other catches on.
PMC, do you cook?! Get ready to share your tasty dishes, the Recipe Jam is here! Whether it’s your favorite treat, brewing a delicious stew, mixing a refreshing drink or inventing a totally new recipe, this is your chance to mix, mash, and serve up something unforgettable. PLEASE change the logo to a pixel consistent one🙏 i know youve had that one for a long time but PLEASE 😭 it would look way better and wouldnt be all that different (no offense)
Time is an illusion that helps things make sense So we are always living in the present tense It seems unforgiving when a good thing ends But you and I will always be back then You and I will always be back then
Singing will happen, happening, happened Will happen, happening, happened And will happen again and again 'Cause you and I will always be back then
