But seriously though what is wrong with the English speaking YouTube community? Russian comments are almost NEVER toxic from my experience and I’ve seen a lot of Russian comments and videos. The most used emoji in Russia is statistically the heart emoji ❤️ and i feel guilty that i even hated on them when i was younger. Because now i almost wish i was one of them.

Just wrote 20 separate replies on YouTube to replies in a comment in defense of someone like me who couldn’t catch that the comment was a joke because we’re constantly surrounded by idiots. And for some reason people say “let him joke man”; or “r/wooooosh” and “bro can’t take a joke” and as someone with autism who’s surrounded by nothing but pure American idiots at school i didn’t get the joke either and i was offended by those rude ass replies like bro if someone clearly didn’t know it was a joke then don’t be a damn ass about it. I’ve learned the hard way by not understanding things like that before. I still hate myself to this day, one of them was a 7 year old and i had no idea... And i told them i had autism and they never replied Great i wasted my happiness and anger and now I’m just gonna be plain old miserable to start my day. What the hell am i gonna do all summer?

Lost my eclipse glasses just as i was gonna check to make sure they were ISO certified, and yesterday my mom bought a glue trap because a rat is slowly breaking into our house and i disapprove, so if i find it being used i’m putting a paper towel on top of it and throwing it out the door

Despite me saying that i sounded young and was short for my age while i was lying about my age by just a year, it’s still true about me, recently reached about 5 ft (152 cm i think? I did the math months ago) and my voice sounds like i’m an early 13 y/o but i’m turning 14 in less than 2 months

I have a confession.

I joined PMC when I was 12, because I had already learned all of the stuff behind websites being 13+, so it was said that I was 14 through most of 2023, but in actuality that was only my mental age. (My mental age is usually one year more than my physical age)

I was going to admit it on my birthday, but I just couldn’t see the point in waiting. I just felt a bit guilty about it.
But i am of age now, and technically it was only half a lie because it WAS my mental age.

and it’s not like any moderation is required now since all requirements are indeed met.

(holy shit, I just got Déjà Vu while reviewing my writing here)

regarding many images on pmc being unavailable
tldr discord is deleting images after a while to free up storage space

what’s happening?
many images around PMC (wall posts, descriptions, profile pages) which are hosted on Discord are refusing to load, visiting the image URL returns an error.

what is causing it?
Discord doesn’t like it when you host images with them, so they’re creating a new system where images sent on Discord will be removed after a long period of time from Discord’s servers - there’s nothing we can do about it. it’s really inconvenient but PMC can do nothing about it, as it’s Discord who are hosting the image, and PMC is just displaying it from the image URL.

alternatives for image hosting
- if you’re up for a challenge, you could host your images through GitHub
- imgur is easy-to-use and doesn’t need logging in
- imgbb also exists
- Tixte is my favourite - you can upload images/videos/more and host them with a custom subdomain, with 15gb of storage space

its annoiyng, but PMC can’t do anything about it, and Discord ain’t gonna budge either.
