I don't normally post non-Minecraft stuff here, but I'm gonna say this nonetheless; I'm sick of people calling Generation Z incompetent and stupid. There are certainly some morons out there, on TikTok, YouTube or what other site is popular (do people still use Vine?), but the vast majority of us are fine, fully normal people. It's just that social media has made it possible for weirdoes to be heard, and stereotypes to be made off them.

I personally hate the language that some of them use ("skibidi","gyatt," etcetera), but even though I hate it, I know I have no ground to. Language evolves. People were upset with Shakespeare when he made up new words, and people are upset now. People will always be upset at new stuff, just because they feel entitled to.

There is no reason to base such assumptions off of the few popular 13-year-olds on TikTok, and the words they use. People want to call them bad for using phones and refuse to acknowledge that phones are good. Phones are only bad if used for the purposes of brainrot, and even then the only reason they try to watch such things is because the world is an awful place. Of course they use media to escape. The quality of everyones' lives has gone down drastically, and they shouldn't be made to look bad for trying to flee it.

People ought to stop making assumptions regarding age, and stop shaming children for being young. If anything, their state is to be blamed on the very older generations that made them this way--refusing to teach them, simply distracting them with tablets etcetera, etcetera.
