CHANNEL UPDATE - DOWNLOAD LINKS

In a few days I hope to release my next stadium build, and given I feel enough time has passed I now want to address the fact that the download links are no longer available.

Back in February it was brought to my attention that somebody had posted my University of Bolton Stadium build on TikTok and wasn't denying in the comments that the build was theirs, which I interpreted as them in effect taking credit. A similar incident occurred a week later, this time with Ashton Gate.

Now, this is nothing new, and content of mine has been as you say stolen multiple times before; it's also an issue faced by other builders. However, stuff like this is really annoying because of the amount of time and effort I put into these builds as you know, with each one taking months or even years to complete. The style in which I build is also very distinctive compared to other builders, making it a lot easier for me to be able to tell where my work has been claimed by others. As a result of these instances and people claiming my work as their own, I finally took the decision to remove my download links from all sources (YouTube and PMC), thereby preventing anybody from accessing my work.

It's not a decision that I wanted to make, but in this scenario I felt I had no other choice. Of course I'll continue to share my work through my videos and thus hopefully I can get the necessary credit through that medium, but I'm sorry to say that I will not be reinstating the download links for the time being. I will always be evaluating my options as to whether I will restore them or not, and if so what form that will take. Setting up a Patreon has been mooted as an idea but this would mean putting the links essentially behind a paywall.

I know many of you have been messaging me as well as leaving comments as to what happened to the links, and I appreciate that so many of you wanted to download my work, but the fact is it's a case whereby certain individuals have spoiled it for everybody else.

Going forward as I say, I will continue to upload my videos and will of course return to streaming over the summer months, but the downloads will not be returning for the foreseeable.

I hope you all understand and thank you all for the support.

As you know, Turtle Bay received a major update last week. I hope you have had a chance to download and explore the map! Thanks for your response so far!




These are machines we designed and built for use in Turtle Bay. Keep in mind, these were designed for use underground, so there is a fair amount of visible redstone. Future updates may include a sample building for above ground use.

The first model is being prepared and will post soon. We will publish the others soon after the first one is out. Stay tuned for the posts.

Big News from Turtle Bay!

Eco SMP has finished the first short on Youtube featuring the Cartographers Guild from the Southtown District. Check it out! We will be including his video links in the upcoming update to Turtle Bay - The Final Cut.

Here is a brief on what's new so far!

1. We upgraded Turtle Bay to 1.20.2!
2. We added a few efficiencies to the XP farm in the Industrial District. First we separated the bamboo and cactus streams, relieving a performance bottleneck.
3. Also, one of the cactus farms have been moved from level 10 to level -53 directly below the other farm. This places all the cactus production in the same two chunks closer to the item elevator.
4. We vastly improved the people elevators on Level 58 at the southwest end of the cactus farm. The elevators now bring you to the top or bottom of both cactus farms.
5. In addition, there is a special elevator that brings you to/from Level 37, home of the improved mob grinders. A short walk from the elevator there is a single kill zone with one zombie and two skeleton spawners.

Downloads have been restored again! It seems the download links for my Turtle Bay worldmap downloads went south for some reason. The are working now...

Sorry Folks, I have removed the Subscriber/Subscription widgets for the time being.

A couple folks are regularly unsubscribing and re-subscribing so they will show at the top of the list. It's a bit annoying and unfair to newer subscribers.

I'll repost the widgets after a while and the behavior stops....
