okay, so, before I begin my rant, just know this is MY opinion, feel free to agree/disagree, it's your opinion. now, let's began.

idk where to begin, idek if I'm allowed to post this here. so TikTok is about to be banned where I am. Joe Biden thought it'd be a good idea to sign the TikTok ban thing, and now the owners of TikTok (BryteDance) have 9 months to sell the TikTok company to some other company. and if they don't, TikTok will be banned. uninstalled from your device,deleted etc.

now, I don't want TikTok to be banned, however, the Chinese won't have any choice. so now the Chinese owners of TikTok (BryteDance) are challenging this into court.

my opinion is that TikTok shouldn't be banned, and that it's not a national security threat. some people think it is. if i missed anything, lmk, and like I said before, this is my opinion. Just giving y'all a heads-up before this post probably gets deleted. and yes, I'm aware we can bypass the ban using VPN. I just don't know how to use VPN, considering that I've never used VPN before.

They steal literally all your data, your search histories, chopping history, private chats, texts, everything. I do believe it should be banned, do to the fact they steal more than they're legally allowed to, and the fact that Tik Tok has been seen to encourage stupid people to be more stupid at my school

…or vigorously enforce the currenmt privacy laws (which would be a good start, although effectively meaningless against companies owned by foreign actors and/or storing data outside the relevant jurisdiction).

Why do some people think that because a skin has 6 extra pixels on the eyes it's automatically a bad skin? people put just as much effort into what some people would dub a "teen skin" as they do skins without those 6 extra pixels.

As someone who's been making skins with unusual colors and eye shapes, I too have heard comments like those, my answer's always the same, different styles for different tastes.
Personally I either do big 2x2 pixel eyes or odd shapes, for a plethora of reasons, main ones being color options and expressions, but 1x2 eyes, dot eyes, NO eyes, etc... are all fine choices too, they may not always be to my taste but it doesn't make the skin bad either.

I totally agree with you, different skins suite different styles and like you I personally prefer the depth that the bigger eyes have because it lets you experiment with complementary colours!!

i like bigger eyes on my own skins because they aren't just...one white pixel, one blue pixel, they have more depth imo
i think the small eyes work on skins with more mature/darker character concepts & "teen" eyes work really well on portraying youthful/bright characters

there's a place for every skin style, including teen skins. they aren't less than </3
