soo.. there's been some drama with toby fox lately, and as a latina i feel i should say something, especially here in pmc where hispanic voices aren't.. exactly prevalent

im not going to argue in favor or agaisnt the translation of ut/dt to spanish as i feel that's irrelevant to what i'm trying to say and would just muddy my words

but it's been.. pretty disgusting overall to see the treatment hispanic people have been receiving, where like, people (especially english speakers) are getting the wrong idea of what were asking for.. and/or just flatout being.. lowkey kinda xenophobic about it

now, for context, i myself dont believe toby is xenophobic or racist or whatever, i just think it kinda sucks the hispanic side of the internet is kinda ignored everywhere

but fr it feels like, idk, just wrong.. like it's a bunch of fetishists who latched on to brazilian miku and the shadow "i love latinas" meme but then dont care at all about the people themselves at all and just treat them as entitled for wanting something as simple (speaking in hyperbole, i know the nuances) as a translation or any manner of attention to the hispanic fandom

it just sucks so bad...
