what is discrete mathematics and why is the math all letters what happened to numbers in math

hi! this is a sketch i did last month that i really loved!



being in uni is soooo exhausting but it feels sooooooo worthwhile when your efforts turn into good (and sometimes miraculous) rewards! i learned this the hard way recently at this previous wave of exams!! was an emotional mess for sure! i'm better now though...

its so easy to compare yourself with ur overqualified peers (cs major moment) but powering through anyway is what keeps the college experience attractive... and the numerous amount of social events i've went to as i grind calculus or something else through it! been pretty proud of myself lately with how uni is going but it learning to accept failure is a skill im slowly learning!

okay! art time. i think i was trying to experiment with side profiles??? then the sketched kinda turned into that. thats all really lol... pretty happy with how it went though! im still soooo scared of coloring but i think its partly because of the digital medium. being traditionally restricted really helps getting color down but in a digital space its so easy to get caught up in the details and then im never satisfied qwq

i think its a little concerning that I'm not really trying to color that much... its fairly intimidating + a time sink. i really enjoy sketching and how loose it allows me to be! but transferring that into a finished piece is the hard part. everything just looks off without the sketch as a buffer! anyway one thing I'm lwk obsessed with trying are HANDS nothing complex but I feel like I'm starting to get a better grasp of general hand poses... that I don't have sketches of (trust me on this one bro)

more importantly, i think i lean towards sketching as it allows me to experiment learn without many repercussions! it allows me to learn and build shapes and get that muscle memory going into me body >:)

hi! i think i've masked it pretty well but i've been pretty much gone for a hot moment (say thank you to uni) and probably will be within the distant future, still skinning (very slowly)! just doing other hottie things ontop of it!

anyways, i've picked up art again! (forewarning i was a huge doodler on math homework my entire life) mainly i just sketch mainly around but i think some of them are worthwhile to showcase for when i figure out how to shade everything else :V. personally one of my goals is not only develop a style, but still incorporate the "tatu" feel showcased with my skin work :)

throughout the next couple of weeks i'm gonna show what i've accumulated while i take on this new journey :) lets see if i actually commit to any sketches too haha....



ok, so this is essentially the first piece i've 'finished'. it sparked from a tiktok.... which i will have to gatekeep from you until im back on my phone (say thank you to uni). for the first time in a LONG while on this artistic journey i've been impressed by myself! kinda the core to what i want to maintain once i start breaking down the shading process. also huge thanks to @/crazypigglet for his critquies (and i'm always open to critques and tips overall! just be reasonable (u can even send me ur art tiktoks). the colors felt tatu.... all i have left to say

Hi everyone. Not sure who still reads these, if anyone at all. This is QUENTOPOLIS, formerly EliteCthulhu and all of the names before that.
I've done a lot of growing up in the last 6 years. Went through high school, got my undergrad, and am now on the way to start my graduate studies. I've also done a lot of thinking about what I've done in the past, much of which I cannot say sits well with me today.

In any case, in a bit of nostalgia clearing through my old bookmarks, I've gone through and updated all of my old works as that, 'old.' This means you can freely use them, just put my name somewhere. I've also removed all of the old adf.ly links that were everywhere, so everything goes directly to the MediaFire links. Those were sketchy and I apologize for having used them.

I won't really get into what I've been up to or what's ahead for me, I'm not here to bore you. If I ever build something presentable enough to put it here, I will. In the meantime you can look up my name or something if you really want to see what I've been doing; I won't advertise here.
