itsa me, your favorite person who very rarely is on the site.

To give a bit of context as to why I'm so inactive, late last year I got out of a pretty toxic friendship. The friendship being toxic isn't completely the other persons fault, I was a bad friend for years by enabling the behavior and ignoring any issues. A lot of our friendship was me acting less of a friend, and more of a therapist for this person, which again I enabled their behavior, but it lead to this ultimate ending of our friendship.
I will not be giving details on who, and I do not wish anyone to try and find out who I am referring to. The end of this friendship hurt me, not in a way of loosing a close friend, but in a way of having my eyes opened to how much i cared for them compared to how little they cared for me.

It's been very hard on me, this friend had unintentionally been downplaying and invalidating my medical conditions and issues (which are diagnosed) in favor of how terrible their issues were compared to mine. Since I no longer have this person around, I don't have the same lack of focus on my own medical issues, which has its ups and downs. I am finally able to recognize and try and care for my issues, but I am also struggling greatly with both my mental and physical coping of these issues.

I am very scared that my friendship being over with this person will result in rumours or hate directed at me, so I isolated myself to defend from something that will hopefully never happen.

All that being said, thank you so much for reading this little vent, I've met a lot of incredible people via this site and I hope that I get the opportunity to keep all the incredible friends I've made.

CHANNEL UPDATE - DOWNLOAD LINKS

In a few days I hope to release my next stadium build, and given I feel enough time has passed I now want to address the fact that the download links are no longer available.

Back in February it was brought to my attention that somebody had posted my University of Bolton Stadium build on TikTok and wasn't denying in the comments that the build was theirs, which I interpreted as them in effect taking credit. A similar incident occurred a week later, this time with Ashton Gate.

Now, this is nothing new, and content of mine has been as you say stolen multiple times before; it's also an issue faced by other builders. However, stuff like this is really annoying because of the amount of time and effort I put into these builds as you know, with each one taking months or even years to complete. The style in which I build is also very distinctive compared to other builders, making it a lot easier for me to be able to tell where my work has been claimed by others. As a result of these instances and people claiming my work as their own, I finally took the decision to remove my download links from all sources (YouTube and PMC), thereby preventing anybody from accessing my work.

It's not a decision that I wanted to make, but in this scenario I felt I had no other choice. Of course I'll continue to share my work through my videos and thus hopefully I can get the necessary credit through that medium, but I'm sorry to say that I will not be reinstating the download links for the time being. I will always be evaluating my options as to whether I will restore them or not, and if so what form that will take. Setting up a Patreon has been mooted as an idea but this would mean putting the links essentially behind a paywall.

I know many of you have been messaging me as well as leaving comments as to what happened to the links, and I appreciate that so many of you wanted to download my work, but the fact is it's a case whereby certain individuals have spoiled it for everybody else.

Going forward as I say, I will continue to upload my videos and will of course return to streaming over the summer months, but the downloads will not be returning for the foreseeable.

Back from traveling, and super happy to read the comments on Sketchbook Journey. II! Even though I have uni during April, I noticed that I will be traveling out every weekend because of my research. Gonna be a bit difficult to draw – but good thing "difficult" does not mean impossible :D

Will be out traveling this weekend, so woke up at 4am to finish the last two pages of Sketchbook Journey. II. Therefore I finished the last two pages this morning, and pushed scheduled the upload to today!
