Personalized Site Feed

These past few years have been a real test on my mental fortitude. I'm not doing well, but no one would be in my current circumstance.

It's a very cringe way to start off this little post to the void of the internet for anyone to see but I want to get a weird thought off my mind.

Roleplay, especially on minecraft, has been a medium and place where I've developed and grown up on. I never put too much thought into what it is I uploaded on this place, but I always did things for the different communities that I was involved in. People forget, and history will always forget the little or large things that you do even if you want to leave a mark on the world. No matter how hard I tried as a kid to have a memorable moment with people, I've come to accept- and grew comfortable, that it'll all be forgotten anyways; so who cares what occurs in the moment?

I never expected people to recognize me, years later, for any work I've published on PMC. But every now and then, the tik-tok algorithm sends it my way, different people in different spaces using my work. Or sometimes, I'll join a new place, and I have people who recognize me from my minecraft gamer-tag.

It's not bad, but I can't help but flinch (lol). It's nice (lovely in fact) to hear from different people who have used my old skinning templates to help get a start on a new hobby. I also love seeing the progress that they've made over the years with art and skins. Yet it's made me realize how harsh the past few years have really been on me and my confidence-- that I'll get lambasted for uploading instead of keeping it hidden.

Recent encounters with a few clients (art comms) sometimes makes me worried that I'm not projecting myself as positively as I want. I have to work on improving my poker-face from here moving forward. Everything has been just a little sad, but it gives me some peace if my very old projects have served some use to some people. Maybe, who knows, I might do it again or update what's already out there :shrug:

To put it simple : THEY CHANGED everything, it is so hard I need to cut and put separately EVERYTHING, that is why it was taking so long, and as of now I am almost done so be prepared for the 1.21 sea beach theme



As for the futures uis that I'm gonna make, should they all be in the most recent version ? I'll wait for answers, thank you for your patience don't worry it will be rewarded

Hey uhh I was using my stepdad ipad to make texture pack and he wants it back
and I somehow need to transfer EVERYTHING to a computer or something or i’ll loose all the references I used to make them in the first place (i retrieved them from last time)
also I broke the apple pencil ✌️🫥

I will invest in a macbook cuz I need a laptop for my studies
so I’ll transfer everything to the macbook and then when I get the money I’ll buy an ipad and an apple pencil to go back to make texture pack

it’ll prolly take a few months for me to update them now but WORRY NOT I won’t give up on the beach and the kuromi texture pack ! And also the ideas that I got

You ever just completely fall in love with the skill-set of another person? I think I consider myself an angry artist. Anytime I see someone good with a skill, I get fueled with sheer rage at my own incompetency that I have this strong urge to be like them, it not better. Which is good for improvement I think and gives me a huge appreciate/respect for the person, but I think it's rare I ever find anyone who I become such a fan girl for.

Learning Blockbench, Scripting, and Figura has been an interesting journey. And while I find myself sometimes at a loss with comparing myself with others, there is this one person who has always blown me out of the water with what it is they do. Now it's one thing to make a really detailed and badass model, but I think it's another to have a complex avatar with how you integrate the mechanics of scripting, animation, and texturing.

I so so so desperately want to be better, but I keep finding myself lost whenever I speak to this one amazing person- why? I have no idea what it is they're talking about (scripting). And it sucks. I really really adore their work, but scripting? I have a better understanding of it now, but I struggle so much without a visual aid to reference off of. Although they are helpful over text, their words elude me for months! And I feel too embarrassed to say anything.

I hope to one day make a model that earns their compliment. To one day have a 'oh wow thats cool' or a 'wow good job!' I think i'd be over the moon to hear that from them.
Just me fangirling really.
