    - its weirdly hard to grasp in the moment as you balance the *stare into the sun* with *not doing that* because: the sun is a deadly laser~

    working on the next one, almost done, spent all day on this

    it surely could be better but im not sure how hmmm

    tried to improve my mountain styles, textures and silhouettes, only to be covered up by shadows, clouds and forests x_x

    After half a year on Linux, let me say this;

    Best. decision. ever.

    Had the pleasure to (dual boot) use the glorius malware/spyware: Winshit once again.
    The second i got in, it pissed me off from start to end.


    - ads
    - my pen tablet didnt work
    - installed the driver, still didnt work.
    - and lastly: it LAGS sooo much and is sooo slow like HOLY, you dont understand! My 5k pc felt like a second hand rip off Temu laptop

    i agree, i used linux for years and it was really nice. only downside was less compatibility with certain things, but i feel like that's changing.

    The win11 stuff is nuts. I somehow regret updating my lap to 11 as it is tractoring, like it has some high stats, but the lap is cheap model(poor ventilation). The same thought went with my older laptop, which stays at the OG system: one hand my dad regretted as win10 is good, but on the other hand the poor device wouldn't handle that goodness. Recently I made a check up due to needing a disc pocket check(the only first best device to check) and the weirdly enough it takes about 2,5 mins to load. The lap is overwhelmed, but this is impressive

    Personally I like the top one better, the grass on the dirt road is more pronounced and that bit alone feels like it boosts the visuals ofthe whole piece... like... the composition was all about the closer objects and the distant horizon

    Actuall Map = Worldmachine (terrain) + Worldpainter (for like all mc stuff, biomes and blocks)
    The render = heightmap from game world + colormap (1 block = 1 color) + complex web 3d stuff for displaying a webversion (threejs) + camera paths + viewport screen capture

    Vault Error: Found and Solved!
    A critical error for my worlds trial chambers, i unintentionally caused/didnt prevent.

    Trial chamber have vaults that had stale states that wouldnt update and therefor wouldnt unlock.
    Me: When saving the structures, they would also save the server time.
    And this would be saved and exported onto the custom worlds 1:1.

    The suspect: server_data.state_updating_resumes_at
    The fix is to reset that timer to 0.

    This can be done ingame: /data modify block ~ ~-1 ~ server_data.state_updating_resumes_at set value 0L
    Or via NBT Explorer.
