      Update for the coming months!

This is a note for anyone concerned with any upcoming apparent stasis of the ACv4 project.
Come the end of September, I will be going dark for a few months. At minimum 2-3, potentially more.

As a serving member of my country's military, I'm being posted to a new location, and won't have access to my computer for quite some time.

I don't plan on culling the project at all- there will just be a sizeable delay between upcoming updates. I'm so sorry for anyone this may end up inconveniencing, but it's a little out of my control.

That said, once I'm back in the saddle, I'll be able to fire up the generator and compile for any new versions that have come out since I left, along with any patches or changes that are noted in my absence.

I've really enjoyed working with you all to polish this pack off as much as we have, and I don't plan to stop now!

In a similar vein, the ACv5 that was mentioned in the previous wall post, is unfortunately going to be postponed until I have some free time to devote to it, and I have no idea when that will be. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to it promptly!

All that said, if anyone has any questions, or input while I'm still here, I'll do my best to provide what I can!

Thanks again to everyone who's taken the time to download, give feedback, and in turn make the project all the better for anyone else who comes across it. It wouldn't be what it is without you all!

I appreciate you guys, and I hope you all have a wonderful Fall/Winter season!

I have a few ideas I'm going to try and put together as a proof of concept for ACv5. Before anyone gets any ideas, no, I'm not abandoning ACv4. It's still supported, and actively being maintained. ACv5 and ACv4 are going to serve two different target audiences. I found myself not enjoying ACv4 as much as maybe I could, frankly, because it did too much of the work for me. ACv5 on the other hand, would be much more redstone based, requiring you to actively build the recipe within the crafter, power the crafter to actually "craft" the item, and then reset. I have the general outline of the project written out, and now I just have to find the time to sit down and actually program it. It will be a spiritual evolution to ACv4- taking everything I've learned and developed for ACv4, and applying it for a better pack (Plus, maybe even some extra goodies. Firework crafting anyone?)- but it's purpose isn't to replace ACv4. They'll both serve their own audiences. If you just have a sugar cane farm, and just want to convert cane to paper- boom. ACv4 solves that as simply as possible. If you're more redstone biased, and like working towards and engineering your solutions dynamically, then ACv5 could be more up your alley.

Just to reiterate, regardless of when I get a prototype of ACv5 out to the public, I don't plan on culling ACv4. They'll both work in parallel to offer the best auto-crafting experience they can, for as many players as they can. Which, keeps in line with the original spirit of the AC project.

I'm slowly but surely turning into the auto-crafting guy I know, but I'll see if I have time to crank out 1 or 2 other packs before summer ends and fall gets crazy busy.

Thanks for your time, and keep your eyes out for the prototype! Cheers!

I've moved all downloads for ACv4 to a unified Mediafire folder.

This was done as a means to offer access to deprecated files, as well as organize everything for ease of use.
An additional benefit, is PMC's downloads should synchronize for accurately now.
As of the time of writing, PMC thinks ACv4 has 450~ downloads. Mediafire totals about 300 more than that, or 750~. That's a disparity of over 60%. So, not only does organizing everything into a Mediafire folder keep things concise and easy to follow, it also helps with the health of the pack.

      All for now, thanks!
