"Of course, Black!" *She hollers up the stairs. The room is gigantic, with dull purple carpet over pale wood flooring. A very large bed stands over the center, in a rich reddish tone of wood. A yellow canopy encloses the bed, and there is a large chest at the foot of the bed. It looks very cozy, and smells clean. The scent of sausage, beans, and corn wafts up the stairs.*
*She returns* "Not a tea person, Black? That's all right. Your room is the second door on the right when you go up the stairs. You go and get settled while I start dinner!"
"That makes sense. You're practically just skin and bones . . . I'll put together a pot of tea, and you can enjoy that while I make sure the spare room is ready. And then after that, soup and my second best wine! I haven't had guests in a long time, so I'll figure out a feast for you, Black, my guest of honor!." *She hustles and bustles throughout the kitchen, and puts together a pot of rosehip tea. She pours him a glass, before disappearing upstairs to clean.*
"Escaping the dungeons, then achieving a royal pardon is very impressive." *she leans in and whispers:* "What did you try to steal? Crown jewels? Gold?" *She whips around a corner to a small cottage absolutely COVERED in ivy. Pipes flow from the yellow roof to overflowing barrels, and eclectic garden boxes surround the property. She ducks to go through her low yellow door, and gestures Black inside.*
"Ooh, all right! You seem wonderfully intriguing. Tell me everything about your adventure, Black!" *She ducks and weaves through increasingly tight alleyways on the way to her home*
"Of course not, friend. Probably not a good idea to paint your portrait today. It would be wise to lay low. Do you need a room or supplies? I should be able to scrounge up anything you need."
