I&'ve always had a bit of a dream to have a skin "dressing room" website where you can create skins based on combined free to use bases and assets people post. Maybe even kind of in the style of Gacha Life or something like that. I& have zero coding knowledge, so this is unlikely to ever become a reality, but I& drew a mockup of how I& imagine it anyway just for fun!

Well, that was a lot of backlog to go through and post... o_0 And I& will soon have 3 more skins once I&'m finished with my& work :D I&'m finally trying out getting medicated for ADHD so I& might be able to post more consistently if it works!

Help bring our upcoming October in-game event to life by creating a festive NPC skin! Think scarecrow farmers, pie vendors, wandering storytellers, anyone you'd meet at a cozy Fall celebration. Give them a name, a location in the festival, and maybe even a few fun lines of dialog. Your creation could become part of the festival world!

Skinfight started and it'll be the first one that I&'m participating in for me&!!! :DDD Hopefully I& can get some cool skins in, AND since it's pride month I&'m considering making a pride skin or a few!! I& have been struggling with getting myself& to interact with people more lately, so this is gonna be a good opportunity to change that >:D

Reasons why I& still haven't gotten a skindex account:

1. Would have to repost all of my& old skins (annoying)
2. The editor is atrocious (seriously I& kinda wanna make a whole video reviewing just how bad it is compared to PMC3D)
3. The social features are much clunkier than here

Reasons why I& want to get on skindex anyway:

1. All the cool people are there and all the contests and community stuff happen there (WHY??)

I& saw other people had support stamps on their profiles so I& made one as well and added a few to mine&! :DDD This concept is very very cute so I& just wanted to do it

Really wish there was like a modern version of Skincraft... or anything similar where you could make skins out of pre-made bases and assets picrew-style! Like yes you could just do it in any 2D image editor, but Skincraft was so fun.... D:

So... while scrolling through old DMs to find which skins were whose commissions, I& found a semi-recent conversation I& had with a person that was so so sweet and made me& shocked just how much impact a skin I& made had on this person :'] I& wanted to share these really nice messages with everyone because they made me& very happy and because I& think this would be inspiring to other skinmakers to know that you too could have an impact like this!!

A while ago (in 2022) back when I& just got into the skinning hobby, one of the first skin commissions I& ever got was from sun7set on Tumblr, who asked me& to remake two skins - I& never posted the other one, and it's not relevant to the story, but I& did post the moss-covered crash test dummy one here almost a whole year after making it when I& finally decided to properly start posting on PMC.



I& thought nothing of it for over two years and then one day, all of a sudden, I& receive this message:



AND FELLAS. WHEN I& SAY I& CRIED??????? This was the best exchange I& have ever had on the internet and I& met some wonderful people out there, SO HUGE LOVE AND APPRECIATION FOREVER TO THIS ONE COMMISSIONER THAT MADE ME& CRY OVER THE FRIENDSHIP AND STORY OF YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!


Even if you know and realize that people can download and use your skins, or that all the skin commissions will probably get used in the game, sometimes you still feel like once you send it, once you put it out there, the fate of your work will be unknown to you. So to all the skinners and other Minecraft makers who have ever put anything out there to be used by someone else, this post is here to remind you that someone somewhere loves what you made and you may have influenced their life more than you realize!!! Everything that you make will live a whole story where you can't see, and it's so beautiful and something to remember!!! <3

And if you are someone who has ever commissioned or downloaded a skin, a mod, a texture pack, a map, anything at all... this is also an appreciation post for you. Us artists and creators want nothing more than to be able to impact someone's life, it's the greatest honour possible. I& encourage all of you to write a similar message to someone you've commissioned or downloaded from before, because this will almost certainly make our day and we will remember your kindness forever <333!!!!!!

As I& once again procrastinate on work, I&'m going to post some old commissions that I& never posted :P Not the OLD old ones but at least a few months old... They're not great but if I& have skins to post why not do that yknow

Trying to find references for how other people do curly hair on skins and there's just straight up nothing???? All the results are either wavy hair or the Mouthwashing character -_- And even when looking for POC skins specifically they almost all have straight or wavy hair but not tight curls D: Do I& try to develop my& own templates/make a tutorial??? I& just wanted to make a Jakeneutron skin and see how people do his type of hairstyle

Had an idea to make a resource pack that adds literally all of The Sims 4 furniture in Minecraft... o_o So far I& modelled 1 (one) chair and that took me& an hour and a half... but it did feel satisfying. Even if it won't go anywhere, it might be good for my& portfolio lol
