Well, this took a while to finish.
Ever been in one of those places where you lose inspiration mid-way through a submission?
That's where I was with this skin for a couple weeks.
It was already too good by the time I became bored with it, simply to throw out and besides I knew that if I got rid of it I'd be throwing all the time I spent on it away too, so after a good, long while of procrastination I started working on it again, and ended developing a new source of inspiration for it.

As some may know, I draw a lot of inspiration from the music I'm listening to in that given moment.
It's not so much that I start making something and then start playing music that I associate with what I'm making after I've already developed a theme for it.
I just let the music lead me wherever it goes.
Whatever music I'm listening to at the time can inspire me to write, or delve into a deep introspective state of mind, or get lost in philosophies (I love philosophy).
The music that I've associated with whatever its become attached to (such as a skin, writing, idea, etc.) has a sort of feeling that it gives me, as if the music and creation (or idea) are inseparable.
It feels like they are a whole and if the music is removed from the whole then the creation doesn't really exist.
That's what happened with this skin.
At first the music created this theme that reminded me a lot of Carl Jung's philosophies pertaining to the inner "shadow".
I made the model, "finished" the head, started adding features to the body, and began shading.
That's when I became bored with the skin and ended up taking a long break.
That was partly due to how generic it looked at the time and how empty it felt.
After returning to the skin I was drawn to a completely different category of music.
From there, I found so much more inspiration, to the point that I went from a boring, generic look, to very detailed and completed version within, give or take, a few hours.
There were many breaks
(Preparing food for family [yes, I cook], eating dinner, watching hour long video, watching two episodes of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, and then some chores).
Personally, even though logically I know that the model is the exact same as the one I started with, I can't see the end result as even a progressed version of the skin's original stages.
To me all I can see is a completely different creation, and that's all thanks to music.

Typically, I add a list of songs with their respective links so that other people, if they're interested, can access the same songs.
