  • Download Forge for 1.10.2 at http://files.minecraftforge.net/. Simply launch the forge jar file to install it.
  • Launch the game using your forge profile, and navigate to C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods. Download the version "OptiFine 1.10.2 HD U D4" of Optifine at http://optifine.net/downloads and drop the Optifine file into the “mods” folder you opened previously.
  • Download the Conquest Reforged Mod. Drop the file into the “mods” folder as you did with optifine.
  • Download the Conquest Reforged resourcepack. Navigate to the resourcepack folder at C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks and drop the Conquest Reforged resourcepack into that folder.
  • Navigate to the resourcepack interface in Minecraft. Click on “conquest_reforged_RP” to get it to be a “Selected Resource Pack”. Press done.

1.7.10 (Conquest Resourcepack) - 1.10.2 (Conquest Reforged) Converter Instructions:
How to convert a 1.7.10 Conquest world to a 1.10.2 Conquest Reforged world:
1. Make sure you have entered your 1.7.10 Conquest world yourself at least once.
2. If you want your Cauldrons and Brewing Stands to convert correctly install NBTExplorer (www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-tools/1262665-nbtexplorer-nbt-editor-for-windows-and-mac)
*If you don't care about these blocks, skip to step #
*Some versions of Forge in 1.7.10 added extra ids for those blocks, so we need this program to get rid of them.
3. Open NBTExplorer. Open the level.dat file in your world save's folder. Open the FML folder. Open ItemData.
4. Make sure you have the ItemData selected (highlighted in blue). Hit Search and then Find (or just CTRL+F). Search for the value 379 and 380. Delete the folders for these entries (they'll have something called K:minecraft:brewing_stand or cauldron and V:379 or 380)
5. Now search for the values of 117 and 118. For file that'll say either []minecraft:cauldron or []minecraft:brewing_stand, double click it and get rid of the [].
6. You're ready to convert now. Run the Conquest Reforged 1.7.10-1.10.2 Converter.jar, choose your world save folder, and start the world converter.
7. A copy of your world that is converted will be created, drop it into your saves folder and enjoy!

NB:
-Invisible fire won't convert into invisible light. You'll have to change this yourself as there's nothing differentiating invisible fire from regular fire.
-Random variants (eg: cabbage barrels instead of apples at random spots) won't carry over.
-If there are major errors occurring with the converter for some blocks (ie: blocks just disappeared), feel free to let me know. However, if only a couple decorations didn't convert to the correct texture, it probably isn't a big deal. If people are interested enough in having these fixed, I can make a github for the converter where they can easily be reported and perhaps fixed.

Hello. I am having issues converting my 1.10 world to the new update. Any suggestions? Also, I'm noticing I can play for about five minutes in survival until it exits completely. Any advice for this, also, would be appreciated :)

There's no enought ores in the survival.
I went to download the converter and I get a warning that it will harm my computer. Is this normal?

If the file is MassBlockr-1.2.2-mc1.10-1.12.jar, it should not.
Just checked again and it still gives me the warning message.

probably a false positive, or it's looking for a signature for the program which costs an exorbitant amount of money for us to get.
I ran it through my anti virus check and it said it was fine. Installed and all is good. Even managed to update my world saves. This noob done well.

Is there a list of crafting recipes recipes available anywhere? I fancy playing survival.

There isn't any official list of recipes, but you can look up all the recipes in the crafting book (they're unlocked when you enter the game)
Thanks. I have encountered an issue with my world now I have update to 1.12.2 from 1.10.2 and ran my world through the converter. I used to run it at 40 fps without adjusting the settings, now after the update I have had to turn off lots of settings and I am averaging 10-15 fps when I am around my build. I did start a new world in 1.12.2 and have absolutely no problem whatsoever.

what sort of blocks did you use in your build?
I've used full blocks, half slabs, fences, stone walls, doors, torches etc. I didn't have an issue until I ran my world through the converter. It lags no matter where I am in the world. I started a new world om 1.12.2 and had no issue whatsoever with the same settings.

I lowered some settings and I've managed to get a stable fps rate, so all is well. Thanks

I'm not really sure what you're getting at. We have all our blocks organized into appropriate tabs, and there's the gui you can open to see all the variants for each block. This probably is easier than going through NEI or the blocklist

Hello, I just recently started having and issue where I use the wand to make a selection but none of the blocks will highlight. I had no issues up until a couple of days ago. Any ideas?

This is a feature of Worldedit CUI, so check that you have that installed and enabled in your settings
I've been trying to use command blocks to make moving gates and noticed that many block id's are used for multiple blocks. Is there a way to add only the block i want and not a random one?

I assume it'd work the same way as wool or planks, just specify the variant blockstate you want. In any case, this system will likely go away in 1.13

Love conquest, but I'm afraid I must say I have mixed feelings about it now. Just upgraded from 1.9.4 to 1.10.2, and a large number of blocks were deleted, these are blocks I had incorporated into a large city (roughly 100,000) square for the base alone, a selection of over 4,000,000 total.

the blocks are gone, and I can't even replace them easily because the world edit mod won't work for this update of conquest models. The //replace feature isn't working for anything, but a lot of the conquest models share the same ID,I such as the conquest:stone_full_25 dwarves blocks.. one such example is I believe the dwarven block 5801:13, the name IS is conquest:stone_full_25, which also matches a few others. And the number ID isn't read by world edit.

So for this, it'll take a lot of time to fix all the old blocks one at a time, and I love the new models, but so far it doesn't seem worth it to update to 1.10.2, regardless of the new blocks and models.

Oh, and recently had a problem with the game launcher freezing up, as well as freezing my entire computer, which is brand new.

Anytime you upgrade your version of Minecraft with Conquest Reforged, you need to use a converter, otherwise your blocks will get messed up. For 1.9.4-1.10.2 you should use this one http://www.mediafire.com/file/39wop259v53dee2/WorldConverter_ConquestReforged1.10.2-1.10.2.jar.

If your game launcher freezes up, you may need to assign more RAM to MC.

A lot of the blocks aren't appearing, they just appear in the inventory as green cubes and they don't show up when placed.

The .jar file is a forge mod, not a resource-pack. You have to leave it as a .jar. You should also get the Conquest Reforged Resource-pack (a .zip file instead of a .jar) for the optimal experience. If that doesn't help, I strongly recommend you take a look at the installation instructions or videos we have on our website.

"OutOfMemoryError" means you don't have enough RAM assigned to MC. You need to change your JVM flag -Xmx1G to something like -Xmx2G, -Xmx3G, or -Xmx4G (2-4gb of ram). I also recommend using Optifine 1.10.2 E3 instead of E7 for a smoother experience with Conquest Reforged (the latest versions introduce a few connected texture errors)

If you don't have more than 2GB of RAM, you will need to buy more or get a new computer. RAM is not just hard-drive space, if you're curious about how it works this isn't really the place for that (google) ;)

Bear in mind the crash doesn't mean you don't have enough RAM on your computer, it just means you haven't assigned enough over to MC to use. Most computers seem to come with atleast 4 gb of RAM these days.

another question. was wondering what the 'compatible conquest' was that is updated already to 1.12.. is this the same thing as that? thanks.
is there an item page.. like.. to see each item? Id really like some more... brighter colored grass.. right now Im using another mod that is midevil.. and the grass is kind of dreary.. I understand that the building in midevil time should be dark and dreary.. but the grass doesn't have to be.. I love some bright and cheery plants.. as they don't always look so drab.... is this possible or do you have this implemented already? thank you again.

Hello,

I would like to ask when the mod would be updated to 1.12 and with that include the new weapons and armors? I saw the update and thought it looked amazing in the vanilla version so i was wondering when the mod would follow. Thanks.

We are working hard on the 1.12.2 release as we speak. (which will include Survival mode with recipes for all the mod blocks,Custom world gen, and new Biomes. Current Biomes will also be generated using the Mod blocks.)
I was also wondering the same thing. found a house today that I am getting someone to do building plans for. loved the mod they used. they told me it was this one.. so Im here. and find out its not updated. I have another mod.. pamsmod. adds 1,100 more food items. so.. I hope its compatable with that as well. as I love this one and I love hers. I want them together so I can finish my world... Im a new PC minecrafter and but not new to minecraft one bit.. and Im SUPER new to mods.... this looks more advanced than Im use too.. normally its just a plain ol resource pack that I work with.. hope I don't fail. lol
