Hundreds of various custom textures enhanced by Optifine's connected textures

Conquest Reforged adds hundreds of high quality textures to Minecraft for builders to use in their worlds. Drawing on not only the original Conquest resource-pack, but also the ArdaCraft textures, Conquest Reforged allows players to delve into an endless amount of themes and building styles. Whether you want to build a Roman colony, medieval city, or a hobbit house, it does not matter: the textures are there!

Thousands of model variants for all the textures

With Conquest Reforged, many shackles upon creativity have been broken. Take advantage of the trapdoors, anvils, slabs, stairs, arches, and even small window models of Conquest Reforged to build the way you want to build.

Additional blocks do not stop with model variants. This mod adds many unique models, from round barrels and wooden rails to 3d ladders and furnaces, to allow you to realize finer details and a higher sense of immersion throughout your Minecraft worlds.

Total renovation of Minecraft’s Creative Inventory

Conquest Reforged builds upon Minecraft’s Creative Inventory by reorganizing every block and tab to provide intuitive block-selection. No longer is wood mixed together with stone; we’ve grouped together blocks according to their material and purpose. Best of all, Conquest Reforged adds another dimension to the Creative Inventory: a selection wheel for blocks with all of its model variants with an optional color wheel, as shown below.

Painting placement made easy

There’s no need to spend your valuable time sifting through all the painting variants for the perfect one now. Conquest Reforged adds the capability to select the painting you wish to place with quick commands. Not only that, we have added hundreds of new paintings that ignore Minecraft physics.

1.7.10 (Conquest Resourcepack) - 1.10.2 (Conquest Reforged) Converter Instructions:
How to convert a 1.7.10 Conquest world to a 1.10.2 Conquest Reforged world:
1. Make sure you have entered your 1.7.10 Conquest world yourself at least once.
2. If you want your Cauldrons and Brewing Stands to convert correctly install NBTExplorer (www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-tools/1262665-nbtexplorer-nbt-editor-for-windows-and-mac)
*If you don't care about these blocks, skip to step #
*Some versions of Forge in 1.7.10 added extra ids for those blocks, so we need this program to get rid of them.
3. Open NBTExplorer. Open the level.dat file in your world save's folder. Open the FML folder. Open ItemData.
4. Make sure you have the ItemData selected (highlighted in blue). Hit Search and then Find (or just CTRL+F). Search for the value 379 and 380. Delete the folders for these entries (they'll have something called K:minecraft:brewing_stand or cauldron and V:379 or 380)
5. Now search for the values of 117 and 118. For file that'll say either []minecraft:cauldron or []minecraft:brewing_stand, double click it and get rid of the [].
6. You're ready to convert now. Run the Conquest Reforged 1.7.10-1.10.2 Converter.jar, choose your world save folder, and start the world converter.
7. A copy of your world that is converted will be created, drop it into your saves folder and enjoy!

NB:
-Invisible fire won't convert into invisible light. You'll have to change this yourself as there's nothing differentiating invisible fire from regular fire.
-Random variants (eg: cabbage barrels instead of apples at random spots) won't carry over.
-If there are major errors occurring with the converter for some blocks (ie: blocks just disappeared), feel free to let me know. However, if only a couple decorations didn't convert to the correct texture, it probably isn't a big deal. If people are interested enough in having these fixed, I can make a github for the converter where they can easily be reported and perhaps fixed.

Haha, I feel like I'm becoming a regular here. ^^"

Anyway, I've noticed that snow cover seems to pile up on a number of stairs from this mod (examples of which are the Oak Planks 1 Stairs, Reinforced Oak Planks Stairs, Pine Planks Stairs, White Planks Stairs, etc). It might just be all the stairs as far as I know, but it only seems to occur for Conquest and because of the way snow cover floats above these stairs, a lot of buildings myself and my friends have built look really odd and unnatural because of it (especially since vanilla wood and wood from all other installed mods don't seem to have this happen).

To get to the point... Is there any way to disable this? Or potential for a patch to fix this (if it's considered a bug)?

Thanks for your time as usual, Origines. I really appreciate your help as usual.

You can do /gamerule doWeatherCycle false to disable snow/rain.
To be honest I don't plan on updating 1.12 unless there are truly game-breaking bugs that show up. I'll be waiting until 1.13 as it involves a total rewrite that'll get rid of old issues and probably introduce new ones to be solved.

Another question. Is the any way to set it up so I can get only one of the three types of tree that grows from a pine sapling. I really prefer a certain type, and there doesn't seem to be a config to be able to set percentages or ratios (unless I'm just blind). I use WorldEdit as a mod as well if that route somehow provides the answer. As usual, thanks in advance no matter the response!

You could open the mod .jar with 7zip, go into the resources, and get the tree structure files. You'd have to use structure blocks to spawn the trees.

Hey! I specifically upgraded all the way from 1.7.10 after years mostly because of all the content found within this great mod. (I mean seriously, how could pass up 6000+ blocks? XD)

I've got a question to ask whilst I'm here anyway. Having installed the Conquest Resource Pack that comes with Conquest Reforged, I realized glass seems to connect with other blocks. To give a specific example, I have a few custom crates in front of a glass pane window, and the glass seems to be extruding and connecting with the crates which seems weird. I used to use Artesian's Dawn for 1.7.10 and I've checked 1.12.2 default MC textures. Neither of which seem to do this.

If you don't mind me asking and ever find some spare time, could you please explain where and/or how I could disable this? Thanks for taking the time to read this, even if you can't reply/are busy! ^^

Not really sure which "custom crates" you are talking about.
If they are from another mod, there is not much we will do until 1.13 (which more or less requires a full rewrite of CR)

It was more an example but yeah, I use crates and other items from Varied Commodities and a variety of shelves from Bibliocraft next to glass panes, and the resource pack seems to connect up the blocks which makes them look really odd.

1.13, huh... I'm pretty sure it's going to be a while until any mods really port over considering how much the code has changed as you've said. Welp.

Anyway, thanks for confirming for me. I appreciate your quick response. Thank you for you time. ^^

When I join in to 1.12.2 forge and run this mod in my singleplayer world, the world processes goes way too slow. After the world got processed, the game goes to 1 FPS and then crashes. Is it because of more that 6k+ new blocks because my PC can't handle it or is it the mod itself?

So, I've been trying to convert a world from 1.10 to 1.12 for a little bit, getting different messages from the converter. Initially, I downloaded the converter from the CR site, and constant java errors would pop up. I just now downloaded the converter from this page, and it worked. Not sure if it's a different converter or not, but might want to check into that.
Hey, still loving this mod, can't build without it anymore.

I'm running into a problem that I'm not sure what the root cause of it is. I know the original Conquest resource pack has custom vanilla block models and entity models (which show up for me), and looking through the Reforged one it appears it still has those files, but when I boot up the game those don't appear for me (i.e. blocky mobs and vanilla blocks don't have 3D edits). I have custom models turned on - is there an particular version of the 1.12.2 Optifine I need to be running?

The original texture pack also has those layered textures for blocks like sand and dirt that let them partially cover up blocks next to them to make the game smoother. Does Reforged support that? If so it could be stemming from the same reason I'm not getting the custom vanilla models.

Thanks.

No, forge is nothing like spigot. Metacycler isn't a thing past 1.8 as metadata was being phased out and will be completely removed in 1.13

still a great mod tho, good job
hey, question: is there a server side plugin support or plugin bundle that I can get so that I can host my own Conquest Reforged server? I couldn't find any on the website other than the list of official servers. but I just want to run a private hosted server with like, 4 people on it.

With forge, client and server mods are the same thing. Just drop the Conquestreforged.jar (not the launcher .jar!) into your Forge server's mod folder.

Hey, question, I have been using this pack for a few years now and then the mod for just over a year, and i'd say I'm somewhat experienced when it comes to using world edit. However, with the new update (i.e. wooden tools being taken out) how does one use world edit in the new update?

world edit as a mod is vital to the creation of my projects (being very big and such)

are there a new set of tools to use, maybe a new list of commands? I can't seem to find an answer as of yet. if there is any information that someone may be able to share, it'd be greatly appreciated!

also Monster, we need more variations on iron blocks! Huge into steampunk/industrial era builds. Especially air ships as well as nautical ships. some more industrial doors would be a blessing!

Keep up the phenomenal work that has kept me gravitated to minecraft for years now! cheers :)

probably a false positive, or it's looking for a signature for the program which costs an exorbitant amount of money for us to get.
I ran it through my anti virus check and it said it was fine. Installed and all is good. Even managed to update my world saves. This noob done well.

There isn't any official list of recipes, but you can look up all the recipes in the crafting book (they're unlocked when you enter the game)
Thanks. I have encountered an issue with my world now I have update to 1.12.2 from 1.10.2 and ran my world through the converter. I used to run it at 40 fps without adjusting the settings, now after the update I have had to turn off lots of settings and I am averaging 10-15 fps when I am around my build. I did start a new world in 1.12.2 and have absolutely no problem whatsoever.

what sort of blocks did you use in your build?
I've used full blocks, half slabs, fences, stone walls, doors, torches etc. I didn't have an issue until I ran my world through the converter. It lags no matter where I am in the world. I started a new world om 1.12.2 and had no issue whatsoever with the same settings.

Hello,ConquestReforged!
I have a simple question.
Im looking for the sample world or Server , arranged an item of MOD.
This MOD is splendid. Because We have very many possibilities.
But there are too too many these, and I cannot grasp it in the official BlockList or NEI. I seem to get dizzy! X0
I think that I want the summary every materials of the block. It is, for example, tree, stone, metal ・・
I thank for your grand work.I am sorry if my poor English I mistaken.

Hi, glad to hear you're enjoying the mod.
I'm not really sure what you're getting at. We have all our blocks organized into appropriate tabs, and there's the gui you can open to see all the variants for each block. This probably is easier than going through NEI or the blocklist

Hello, I just recently started having and issue where I use the wand to make a selection but none of the blocks will highlight. I had no issues up until a couple of days ago. Any ideas?

This is a feature of Worldedit CUI, so check that you have that installed and enabled in your settings
I've been trying to use command blocks to make moving gates and noticed that many block id's are used for multiple blocks. Is there a way to add only the block i want and not a random one?

I assume it'd work the same way as wool or planks, just specify the variant blockstate you want. In any case, this system will likely go away in 1.13
Ok, thank you.
Love conquest, but I'm afraid I must say I have mixed feelings about it now. Just upgraded from 1.9.4 to 1.10.2, and a large number of blocks were deleted, these are blocks I had incorporated into a large city (roughly 100,000) square for the base alone, a selection of over 4,000,000 total.

the blocks are gone, and I can't even replace them easily because the world edit mod won't work for this update of conquest models. The //replace feature isn't working for anything, but a lot of the conquest models share the same ID,I such as the conquest:stone_full_25 dwarves blocks.. one such example is I believe the dwarven block 5801:13, the name IS is conquest:stone_full_25, which also matches a few others. And the number ID isn't read by world edit.

So for this, it'll take a lot of time to fix all the old blocks one at a time, and I love the new models, but so far it doesn't seem worth it to update to 1.10.2, regardless of the new blocks and models.

Oh, and recently had a problem with the game launcher freezing up, as well as freezing my entire computer, which is brand new.

Anytime you upgrade your version of Minecraft with Conquest Reforged, you need to use a converter, otherwise your blocks will get messed up. For 1.9.4-1.10.2 you should use this one http://www.mediafire.com/file/39wop259v53dee2/WorldConverter_ConquestReforged1.10.2-1.10.2.jar.

If your game launcher freezes up, you may need to assign more RAM to MC.
Everytime I play with the launcher my game ends up crashing eventually with a code 255, heres what the last bit of the log looks like

I'd recommend you join our Discord and post your problem there in the Support channel to get your problem resolved a lot faster, In any case, you'll find the crashlog here depending on what your folders are called and what profile you're using ...\ConquestReforgedLauncher\instances\ConquestReforgedAdvanced\minecraft\crash-reports
ive been trying to upload the log that runs in a seperate window when you use the launcher, where do i find the actual crash log?
