Conquest Reforged adds hundreds of high quality textures to Minecraft for builders to use in their worlds. Drawing on not only the original Conquest resource-pack, but also the ArdaCraft textures, Conquest Reforged allows players to delve into an endless amoutn of themes and building styles. Whether you want to build a Roman colony, medieival city, or a hobbit house, it does not matter: the textures are there!

With Conquest Reforged, many shackles upon creativity have been broken. Take advantage of the trapdoors, anvils, slabs, stairs, arches, and even small window models of Conquest Reforged to build the way you want to build.

Additional blocks do not stop with model variants. This mod adds many unique models, from round barrels and wooden rails to 3d ladders and furnaces, to allow you to realize finer details and a higher sense of immersion throughout your Minecraft worlds.



Total renovation of Minecraft’s Creative Inventory

Conquest Reforged builds upon Minecraft’s Creative Inventory by reorganizing every block and tab to provide intuitive block-selection. No longer is wood mixed together with stone; we’ve grouped together blocks according to their material and purpose. Best of all, Conquest Reforged adds another dimension to the Creative Inventory: a selection wheel for blocks with all of its model variants with an optional color wheel, as shown below.



Painting placement made easy

There’s no need to spend your valuable time sifting through all the painting variants for the perfect one now. Conquest Reforged adds the capability to select the painting you wish to place with quick commands. Not only that, we have added hundreds of new paintings that ignore Minecraft physics.

  • Download Forge for 1.10.2 at http://files.minecraftforge.net/. Simply launch the forge jar file to install it.
  • Launch the game using your forge profile, and navigate to C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods. Download the version "OptiFine 1.10.2 HD U D4" of Optifine at http://optifine.net/downloads and drop the Optifine file into the “mods” folder you opened previously.
  • Download the Conquest Reforged Mod. Drop the file into the “mods” folder as you did with optifine.
  • Download the Conquest Reforged resourcepack. Navigate to the resourcepack folder at C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks and drop the Conquest Reforged resourcepack into that folder.
  • Navigate to the resourcepack interface in Minecraft. Click on “conquest_reforged_RP” to get it to be a “Selected Resource Pack”. Press done.

Hey there, amazing mod pack.

I have a couple questions regarding the mod:

- We have a vanilla server running with 1.12 (should have backups with 1.10.2 though) and would like to have it running with conquest reforged. Is it possible to do so, after converting?

- We use worldpainter extensively; does it work with conquest reforged?

- We use worldedit extensively, does it work with conquest reforged?

- We like to take renders of our places with Chunky, is it compatible?

- We have many themes on our server (not only medieval), such as classical themes (Rome, Egypt, Mesopotamian), among others. Is this mod pack mostly suited for medieval builds?

1) CR doesn't run on 1.12 right now. Only 1.10.2
2) Worldpainter works with mods. I use it myself for CR.
3) Worldedit works with CR. For rotations you need FAWE, with compatibility packaged in the custom launcher provided on our website.
4) Chunky is not compatible with mods.
5) Definitely not. Personally, I only build Roman. There are even others who build futuristic or sci-fi with CR. You'll have plenty of blocks for classical builds.

I'm confused, the Conquest reforged mod is 1.10.2 but the resource pack is 1.11.2 so how do I use them both when they are on different minecraft versions.

You shouldn't be using the official Conquest resourcepack with Conquest Reforged. You should be using the Conquest Reforged resourcepack, which is built for 1.10.2 (download found on our website/ the download page).

Seems my notebook is too weak for this mod, Minecraft crashes when I try to load the mod xD Don't got any other mod installed, only conquest reforged and it crashes.
Well, it loads for a very long time until I finally get the message that MC crashed.

You might need to assign atleast 3gb of RAM to Minecraft to run the mod, but that's only if you have 3gb of RAM on your notebook.

i have a server and i had a few questions about this mod
1: if i install this mod on my server do my players need to install it to?
2: does it run on 1.8.x? since with plugins issues there is no way to get it to 1.10

Yes, your players need to install it.
The 1.8.9 version was archived due to it being very buggy and us not wishing to take the time to support an old version of Minecraft.

Do these textures remain if the mod is removed as long as the most recent Conquest resource pack is used in the same game world? For example, if I build within a modded world then can switch to vanilla will the textures/models stay and if I can switch back?
I am also concerned with whether or not worlds like this would be compatible in a multiplayer environment?

I don't know if the latest version of Conquest (official) matches all the vanilla block textures in Conquest Reforged, especially since the latest version of Conquest is for 1.11. I do know you can't retain the modded blocks in a world after uninstalling the mod and playing on that same world.

You can definitely use Conquest Reforged worlds in multiplayer. The server you are playing on simply needs to have Conquest Reforged (a forge mod) installed.

I know the majority of this relies on the textures, but is there a way to turn off/get this without the resourcepack? I've got a modern vibe going on with my map and the textures kinda throws that off in some of the blocks. This is super either way, though.

Glad you like Conquest Reforged! If you don't want the Conquest textures, you could turn on a default or modern themed texturepack, with it being at the top right of the resourcepack interface.

Hm. I am using Moderna HD and it's at the top, but CR still seems to override it. It could be because the Moderna I'm using is for 1.11, so I'll try to downgrade and see what happens. Thanks for the reply!

UPDATE: I have uninstalled Conquest and reinstalled it manually and it is working great again!!

Hi I update the resources pack but i don't see any block new. Is that i miss something ?

This isn't just a resourcepack, it is a mod.

If you already have installed it correctly, the latest version is 2.1.0

The download button takes you to our website's manual installation (we also have a custom launcher on our website). Just follow the directions on there and click the links in them to get Conquest Reforged set up.

hey, I played a lot on the old conquest but as ravand.org has been offline for almost a week I thought id give this a try but when I launch the game it loads on the mojang page for ages then crashes and says its unsupported

How much RAM have you allocated to your Minecraft profile? From how you describe your situation, it sounds like you don't have enough allocated. You'll need at least 2-3 gb of RAM.

hey thanks that could've been the problem but the custom launcher works a treat. I forgot I left that comment and it was when I tried the manual installation. thanks for the help but all is good now :)

Mighty Origines! May I edit and reupload your work on the Conquest Reforged mod? I would like to give modern builders a chance to have both rustic and modern buiulds in the same world without sacrificing the texture of a block. I already edited my copy, I was only wondering if I could share it with others. Credited to you and your work, of course.

No, sorry; re-uploading any of our work is not acceptable.

However, you can make an addon mod or resourcepack to be used alongside Conquest Reforged (downloaded from any site we have provided and not rehosted) as long as it does not reuse any content from Conquest Reforged.

This looks great. I'm having a problem with CTM for some reason, though.

I've come back to MC after a few years of not playing (used Conquest before too), and got this mod since I was bummed about the loss of the extra meta-data blocks. I downgraded my client to 1.10.2 so I could run this, but now when I load a world it appears connected textures don't function (they did in 1.11.2 with just OF, the Conquest RP, and the associated shader mod). I searched around a lot but couldn't really find any solutions so this seemed like the best place to ask. Any idea what could be causing it?

As it stands I have forge 1.10.2-12.18.3.2316, with conquest reforged v.1.4.51, OptiFine_1.10.2_HD_U_D4, and worldedit-forge-mc1.10.2-6.1.4. I'm not sure if it is relevant, but MC says the 1.11 version of the Conquest resource pack is incompatible with 1.10.2 in the resource pack screen. Can't find a version specifically for 1.10.2 though so it must be ok.

First make sure you're using the Conquest Reforged resourcepack and not the official Conquest pack. Also, why are you using CR v.1.4.51? That's a pretty old version of the mod.
Ah, I figured I messed up somewhere. Not sure how I ended up with the old version either.

Yes. We are working on the solution to make the mod compatible with Worldedit (in terms of rotations, otherwise everything else should work fine) and will probably release it somehow fairly soon.

Use /tool info to get the numerical IDs of blocks that you would use with worldedit
You know the moment you see something already wonderful and then someone make something base on thing that you love but 1000 times more awesome and you just totally sh** yourself? Yes i did with this mod, HOLY MOTHER OF CONQUEST, this mod and texture are god to all builder out there who loves medieval style. Hand down to this masterpiece
i also really hope you can update this mod to 1.11.2 at least, switching game versions kill my brain cell

The custom leaves are showing grey or as a standard leaf currently. I do have connected textures and everything else working. I perhaps have an outdated version of the resource pack?




I am Running the optifine D4. Reforged with the texture pack 2.0.3 with the 1.3 version of conquest. Thank you in advance.

Assuming "the 1.3 version of Conquest" is the official Conquest Resourcepack, you should not be running this with Conquest Reforged and the Conquest Reforged Resourcepack (different from Monsterfishs in file structure). If this isn't the case, what is the 1.3 version of Conquest?

Yes it is the official, or at least of the recent ones. Thank you. When reading through the manual install guide I had misread something there and thought we need BOTH normal conquest and reforged's texture packs. Thank you.




This has fixed my lovely trees but I still struggle to get the paintings working.

So to confirm I do have the Reforged with the suggest texture pack version 2.0.3. in the help it mentions a command but lists no command.

Maybe in the future it would be a good idea to give documentation to those, but there isn't much point as the paintings don't have textures yet.

Hi, guys, maybe im retarded but i need some more help.

In Dukonred's videos i've seen that his inventory had 3 pages where all his items are sorted, mine has only 1 and i really have a hard time to find all the items i want to use.

I downloaded and installed this mod with the launcher. Did i do something wrong?

If you are crashing, make sure you have enough RAM assigned to MC. If that doesn't work, I can't help you without a crash report as I can't determine the problem from one line of the launcher's log.

In that case, I am not sure what happened. You might want to search around in your .minecraft folder to see if your world files are there or if there are any backups
