Are you tired of having to mine in the dark, or having to return to the surface during a mining session, just because you ran out of torches? With the flashlight mod, your need for torches is eliminated!

Right click the flashlight to turn it on/off.

Can you set a light limit? unfortunately, if I shine the flashlight on nonloaded chunks, the world will get corrupted. Thanks in advance!

You put the mod in (for Mac users) (your user) > library > application support > Minecraft, then if you have forge installed you put the mod in the "mods" folder then launch Minecraft with the user "forge" and make sure it's turned on! :)
I Saw A Bug If You Sit On A Chair Form CrayFish Furniture Then Use The Flashlight The Game Stops And You Have To Restart It. Also If You Click A Chair With The Flashlight In Your Hand The Same Thing Happens.

If/when you update to 1.9 could you make it have durability and be repaired with a single redstone? That could act as a battery.

and what about batteries? lol. Or perhaps it is solar charged and can go for like 6 hours maximum (in game time) on full charge and you have to have it in inventory when it's day time to charge it.
