This mod is about making the freezing effect more interesting by adding a related potion effect and a mob and even a bonus...


The freezing effect was added in the snapshot 2046a in 1.17 and is an effect triggered by the player standing inside powder snow, the effect makes your
character shake, puts a snowy overlay in first person and colors your hearts in a snowflake while making you take damage over time.

This is very sad as Mojang didn't make it possible to give the player this effect without powder snow, so I made it with a mod.



  Features:

- Frost potion effect

- The Frozen Witcher mob which shoots arrows that freezes you

- Frozen water which makes you freeze



This forge mod should support 1.18x and above, I haven"t tested it on 1.19x or 1.20x but it should be ok...
