Wall Jump lets you bounce right off of walls like in so many video games! Jump up to any wall, hit jump again, and rebound back off! Each time you'll turn 180 degrees, so you can wall jump on a parallel wall!

In the latest version I have worked more on the menu, with options such as blocks which can be jumped off of and stuff. The wall jumping mechanic and bar remain pretty much exactly the same. I have also included a "mcmod.info" file, for anyone using Magic Launcher or similar launchers, and just so it looks nice in Forge's mods menu.

In the 1.8 versions, fixes have been made to reduce glitches and hopefully increase reliabilty of jumping. It is recommended that anyone using version 1.2.2 or 1.2.2a upgrades to 1.2.3.

Installation:

Step 1: Download the mod and Minecraft Forge from files.minecraftforge.net.
Step 2: Install Forge using 
Step 3: Open appdata\roaming\.minecraft (Ctrl+R, %appdata% to open appdata in Windows)
Step 4: Copy and Paste the mod zip file into the mods folder in .minecraft.
Step 5: Run Minecraft with Wall Jump installed!

Fixed another bug that caused incorrect jumping mechanics. Blocks weren't always being correctly recognised when in front of the player, depending on angle, and therefore the jumping wasn't working in some directions.

I've noticed that when I am wall jumping on parallel walls, I drift more an more to the side with each rebound. which makes it difficult to to wall jump up skinny/ tall walls.

Enable circle mode. You drift to the side because when you're facing outwards between jumps, you move in that direction. In normal mode, you always face out the same way, but in circle mode you face either way half the time, so it balances out.
