Balao class submarines were a class of WW2 submarines following the Gato class for america. They were fairly successful and 120 were built and commissioned. The US continued to use them all the way through WW2, Korea, Vietnam, and then they retired or sold them. It is an interesting fact to know that one of them, the USS Tusk, was sold to ROC Taiwan and is still operational in their navy as of 2015. 8 of the rest were made into museums across america, and all the others were scrapped.
3 of the museums, I have seen,
the uss bowfin in pearl harbor
the uss clamagore in patriots point south carolina (with uss yorktown cv10 which i also made)
the uss becuna in independence seaport in philadelphia

full interior is done

This submarine is kinda luxorious
And after you do the USS Long Beach CGN-9 do the USS Midway cv-41
in bott as commissioned and as retired in 1991
but a note:ship such the Missouri which you do in both as commissioned and as retired,i wanna see them (this includes missouri after you make the interiour,you can do this with mc edin,idk how,and do this plz) in one world so the people can make a comparison...

The issouri world like that wouldnt quite work because i redid the entire ship above the hull for 1944 rather than simple conversions (because i found some problems with my 1991 missouri mainly being that the first turrets were way too far forward) and the 1944 one isnt the same as 1991 one anymore but i can redo 1991 i guess idk and as for uss midway i will consider it
but i am very very busy and have lots of projects to finish
